Thank you everyone!
We are planning to carry out a commemorative campaign in the future.
Please wait for the follow-up report!
I wonder if they've been sitting on this for a while, it's a pure coincidence, or people bought it on announcement of Online (maybe by accident by getting them confused).

I live in a giant bucket.
Great to hear! You'd think they would've followed up on this with a full-fledged sequel by now, but Online's a great start.

How does this stack up with the other Bomberman games sales-wise?

It's not bad. I picked it up when the Switch came out and was pretty disappointed with it. However after numerous updates it's a good bomberman. Still doesn't hold a candle to the best of the best such as Saturn Bomberman.

I meant sales-wise -- I played it myself and liked it a good deal, but got burnt out with how high the shop costs were. Shame because it was realllllly addicting!

Woah, I missed the news of the Stadia Bomberman Online game coming to Switch, I've gotta get into that.

But congrats to Bomberman. I bought it on release day along with BotW and sadly didn't play it as much as I would have liked. I hope between this and Momotaru, Konami will start to make a stronger push into making games again.

2 million is quite an achievement for Bomberman, isn't it?

I'm pretty sure the majority of it came from Switch since it came earlier. Also the game simply didn't sell on PC. With 245 user reviews so far and 77 ccu peak at launch, calling it a bomba is an understatement. It's kinda surprising that they're releasing the F2P online version on PC after this, but maybe it'll do much better since it's free.

Can't find anything significant. But I would be surprised if any of the other entries came anywhere close to 2 million though, honestly. Their strategy back in the day was to release a fuckton of lower budget Bomberman titles, so getting a lot of sales over a long period of time like R wouldn't have really been a thing I think and it was never that big of a franchise.

Well deserved. I'd love to see it get another game in the vein of 64 The Second Attack or the Gamecube games (Generations and Jetters)

Nice, seeing this makes me want to play Bomberman 64 or Hero:

If you haven't played it before I would also highly recommend the third Bomberman game on the 64, Bomberman 64: The Second Attack. It's my favorite of the 3.

There...was another Bomberman game on N64? Very interesting!

This has to be the best selling Bomberman game in general then, right? If I recall, Bomberman Land Touch! on DS was the only other one that reached 1 million, and it was milestone when Super R topped that on its year of Switch exclusivity

I'm glad to support the series whenever I have the chance, btw! love some Bomberman!

If I recall. It was still like full price and barely went on sale on Steam. That was the biggest issue.

Really hoping they're working on the next "mainline", I love this IP and want it to prosper.
