Oof and here I thought it would have been included in a collection instead of a full price standalone.
For 60 dollars, it's going to need to come with at least one of the SM Galaxy games for me to buy it. 3D World outside of a couple post credits levels was way too easy.
According to the rumors, we should get something like this :
- Super Mario 3D World Deluxe (with new content)
- A collection of remasters (Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2)
- A new Paper Mario
I digress. Most of the people dismissed it because they didn't feel like it was a "successor to Galaxy", whatever the fudge they meant. They bashedin it for things like having rounded shadows instead of realistic or not having online multiplayer.
It will come with one extra character that is basically an easy mode.
It's not a successor to Galaxy though. Galaxy was trash and SM3DW is actually a good game.
Not having online multiplayer is a legit gripe. A ton of the praise for the game comes from people saying how great the co-op is. The problem is that a lot of people don't have people to play it with.

3DLand is the 3DS game. An excellent game too. 3DWorld is basically a sequel.
The whole game was easy mode. If anything, I hope they add a harder difficulty setting.
I don't doubt 3D World will come over eventually but I'm not convinced this right here means anything

Dude I won't be surprised if SM64, Galaxy, Galaxy 2, and Sunshine are all sold individually at 60$.
To be honest I wouldn't mind this because it'd mean they have put some work into upgrading each

I think 3D Land levels will be the bonus levels, redone in the 3DWorld engine.
3DLand is a great game and needs to live on beyond the 3DS.

Just like last year. I've been having a great time playing Metroid Prime Trilogy and Persona 5 on my Switch.

Yeah, this is why I was dissspointed with the game, it gets challenging way, waaay to late. Game needs some more hard levels added to it.
You damn right I'm going to buy my favorite and, imo, the best 3D Mario game a second time.
Hoping for at least one more character, too. Yoshi and/or Pauline (with a hat throwing gimmick reminiscent of Odyssey, like how Rosalina got a toned down "Spin" from Galaxy) would be my picks.

While not a top-tier Mario in some respects, 3D World is easily the best in terms of co-op play.
