I think "mad lad" was the more insane word used in the Direct.

I don't get it. What's wrong with that word?
Ah right, that makes sense too. Would be labour-intensive and it seems they already had quite a bit on their plate.Actually I think it's the other way around. They didn't want to make new 3D Models and animations for things 3D World didn't have so they decided to just make it unique.
Some things are weird, like trampoline mushrooms being exclusive when they'd be really easy to make sprites for. The NSMB games had them.
Surprised nobody catch this yet. This show that the Super Famicom logo some people saw is probably a new sound effect that play Mario Circuit from Super Mario Kart. (which could be a double reference. As 3D World also had a level based on Mario Kart and played a rendition of the same music.)

No, you're simply moving the goalposts. You said that PS Plus does the same thing as this. But they don't.
No one said they offered a $100 minimum purchase on every single discounted item, only on this specific offer. Yes, you can use it on games that cost $60 at launch. Although many of the titles are older and have already been discounted for less than $50, and most people do not make $50 games purchases in pairs.
As for PS Plus discounts versus the eShop sales, I rather wish Nintendo would offer that degree of discount, where a major exclusive title like Horizon can be discounted to around $10 with all of its DLC included. Have they done anything like that with Zelda? I believe PSN had God of War for $35 recently. The degree of discount offered in PSN sales isn't remotely comparable to Nintendo's discounts, which I rightly described as meager.
As for my "bizarre" issue with this, I simply made an off-handed remark that it's funny Nintendo seems to think this is some fantastic discount and that it's a comment on how poor their discounts are compared to other platforms. I find it much more bizarre that so many people feel the need to pile in to defend Nintendo's honor on the issue of pricing because of a short comment made in passing during a quick-moving thread on a livestream
Nope, and the Mystery Mushroom is seemingly replaced by the Big Mushroom.
There was a part in the video where they showed joycons on one console being assigned to mario and luigi. There's couch co-op.

The thread itself already has that information :PSorry to bring this up, but do you have a timestamp for that? I'm trying to find it myself with no success, and it would settle the current discussion on the matter.
It's just a word coined by "The Simpsons", I always get weirded out when it enters real world vocabulary.
It's a shame that the survival, "don't run" and the "don't hurt any enemies" challenges seemingly can't be replicated (as far as we know, the latter two could easily be options we haven't seen yet) , but oh well.Man you've got no idea how excited I am that NSMBU challenge mode has been mostly replicated.
I am glad there's a story mode because the editor looks so overwhelming that I probably won't bother a lot to make.
Also I want a 2D "3D World" game so bad.
Is there any part of the old 2d marios that cannot be recreated in Super Mario Maker 2?
Any type of platforming that cannot be made? Anyone think about this?
They still don't have scale lifts, so we can't even accurately recreate every level from Mario 1.Is there any part of the old 2d marios that cannot be recreated in Super Mario Maker 2?

this is your irregularly scheduled spoiler-free stream link page shilling for purposes of bookmarking and whatnot
Man no clear pipes in every theme makes me so sad. Ever since I saw this romhack level i hoped we could recreate something like it with the clear pipes.

Still don't have the elevators from SMB1 1-2 do they?Is there any part of the old 2d marios that cannot be recreated in Super Mario Maker 2?

Why do people undersell 2D Mario so much? This is a lot of good stuff but it's nowhere close to being able to replicate every game. It still can't even fully replicate SMB1. Tons of stuff missing from SMB3, SMW, and NSMBU.Is there any part of the old 2d marios that cannot be recreated in Super Mario Maker 2?

It doesn't even make sense in Forest. Forest isn't associated with water levels. And then the thing that IS associated with forest levels, poison, is locked to the night version of forest, which gets rid of the bloody forest! So you basically can't even have poison in forest. What's wrong with allowing water underground? Ghost house? No sunken ghost house ship? k. :C
And SMB3Interesting that they actually added Dry Bones to the 3D World style
The original only had Parabones.
Also I wonder if Fire Bro is 3D World exclusive. That'd be weird, it's an enemy in 3 and NSMBU...
Did you play the first game? Level creation is surprisingly easy...and fun! Super Mario Maker is the by far the most enjoyable level creation tool on the market and it's very accessible to people who don't normally like to create things, such as myself.

Spinys, Sparkys, Flying Koopas, Mecha Koopa's, Charging Chuck, Thwimps, Swooper, Blaarg, Dolphins, Eeries, Ninji, Rex, Dino.
Spiky is such a big omission.
Fire Bro/Fire Sledge Bro aren't listed with the items that are 3D World exclusive, so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that we can use them in other themes. Also I wonder if Fire Bro is 3D World exclusive. That'd be weird, it's an enemy in 3 and NSMBU...
No, it fully Supports nso
