I still cant believe a smash game launched without homerun contest. Like you already had the sandbag and homerun bat in the game.
Yeesssss! When it comes out, THEN I'll have absolutely no doubt about this being my favourite Smash. I can understand a reworked stage builder taking some time to build, but there's no reason why Homerun contest had to be cut.
Despite thinking a lot about how this game would likely have lots of free updates in addition to the paid DLC, I somehow never thought of this being a possibility.
Honestly I can't really get excited over the prospect of a stage builder at this point, both of Smash's previous two attempts at it were pretty lame.

There hasn't been any datamining about potential spirit descriptions, right?
This one would be interesting if they could be shared online, maybe forcing people to use one character :o
Sweet a stage builder! I didn't dabble too much on it back with Brawl but I had fun with it! Can't wait!
I like Home Run Contest. I spent a very long time getting a great score with Ganon in Melee.

I mean presumably there gonna keep updating the game till the DLC is done so that long I guess.

On topic, the omission of Home Run contest was a head scratcher. Glad it's coming back. Would love break the targets to come back too
I really Hope Home Run Contests comes with leaderboards and if a man can dream, online replays (similar to Tropical Freeze). I feel like this would give the sub-game an entirely new life.

I'm all for Target Test Maker because I know people are going to make it incredible hard and I'm okay with that!
I really don't want to get hyped for 3.0 but even Nintendo seems to want us excited so...... Im hyped.
This is a brilliant idea. Even if it resulted in SMM-like shenanigans, it'd still be amazing to watch and play.
Please let stage builder be used for a create yourown break the targets and bourd the platform stages.
can only hope stage builder will have enough options for interesting stages and Target Test Maker would be nice to see
