Pretty much. The Fighters Pass is the only time I have ever felt like Banjo had a legit chance of making it, so i'm all in until the very end.We either ride this train to victory or we ride it off the cliff.

This is classic a Vergeben tacticAlso, if you're talking about Vergeben's Metroid 5 rumor I wouldn't put much stock into it. Sabi said that he just slapped it and WarioWare onto the end of a post with information she shared with him, so him getting the other stuff right doesn't make that rumor more accurate too.
My 20 year old brother was pretty excited when I mentioned it to him, although he's never played a Banjo game. I think he was more happy for me than anything.
You could say that about most Smash Bros characters, honestly. You think your average 12 year old kid gives a shit about Game and Watch or Duck Hunt?
Yeah.
well no but they aren't paid dlc.You could say that about most Smash Bros characters, honestly. You think your average 12 year old kid gives a shit about Game and Watch or Duck Hunt?
I do and i'm super young lol. Only really played nuts and bolts on 360.
To be fair I've yet to find a <20 y/o zoomer who cares about Cloud
i actually know quite a few.To be fair I've yet to find a <20 y/o zoomer who cares about Cloud
ding ding ding
No, shh. Let them have fun; it'll make it better when Banjo is announced in the Direct.
It's not exactly the kiddies playing the Switch (and thus Ultimate) guys
that word doesn't mean what you think it means
Holy shit, 30 year old are boomers now? Jesus.
also not paid dlc for 90%
This whole image is pretty far-fetched if you ask me.
Bayonetta has never been big. That she managed to get through the ballot speaks more of the Smash fanbase's sensibilities.just saying:
DLC so far:
Mewtwo: still very big and relevant
Roy&Lucas: people knew them from Smash and are easier to include with already done movesets
Ryu, Cloud, Corrin, Bayonetta, Joker: all still big and relevant with Corrin and Joker being new.
Banjo: not relevant at all
Fucking zoomers
Get off my lawn you whippersnapper!
Only old people use forumsIt's only the most popular thread on Smashboards right now, but you tried to be snarky I guess
probably, maybe 85%? somewhere along that lines i would say.
I dunno, Banjo's reveal trailer could come close if they play it right.

No way, as cool as Banjo is, Banjo isn't the entire roster of the game, plus half a dozen previously cut characters in one trailer set to awesome music.I dunno, Banjo's reveal trailer could come close if they play it right.
and who do you think posts on these forums? i tell you what 20 somethings don't even know what forums are.
What happened to the gender ratio here, I thought Nintendo consoles usually have a pretty even male/female spread?
It's not exactly the kiddies playing the Switch (and thus Ultimate) guys
As we come up to Smash Ultimate's second E3, let us remember the greatest Smash trailer to ever exist
This will never be topped
The Smash series started on the N64, so that overlap makes sense, although I think Melee was probably most people's first Smash games, so idunno.I am always surprised by Banjo's momentum. I think there's just high overlap between "people really into Smash" and "people with a lot of N64 nostalgia."
But like, I never played any of his games, so even among Rare characters I can think of like half a dozen I'd rather see.
Prettu sure that was made only a few months after launch. Launch is usually when the more hardcore buy consoles. What happened to the gender ratio here, I thought Nintendo consoles usually have a pretty even male/female spread?

yeah that's pretty surprising to me, like that's an overwhelming majority right thereWhat happened to the gender ratio here, I thought Nintendo consoles usually have a pretty even male/female spread?
It... Has to be an US thing, I guess? The male/female ratio of Switch owners I know is pretty evenly spread. What happened to the gender ratio here, I thought Nintendo consoles usually have a pretty even male/female spread?
wait till AC drops. What happened to the gender ratio here, I thought Nintendo consoles usually have a pretty even male/female spread?
I wonder if it has to do with what the Switch currently provides. Lack of titles that specifically appeal to women and girls. What happened to the gender ratio here, I thought Nintendo consoles usually have a pretty even male/female spread?
I mean, The Everyone is Here trailer was only hype for the cut veterans to me. I was already expecting every Smash 4 character to return before E3, and I predicted that a good chunk (if not all) of them would be re-revealed during E3. Pichu, Pokemon Trainer and Snake were the parts that made it for me (plus the few Smash 4 characters with redesigns; especially the Zelda cast). No way, as cool as Banjo is, Banjo isn't the entire roster of the game, plus half a dozen previously cut characters in one trailer set to awesome music.
