Nothing really. It claims that Hero releases tmrw and the video will show off Mii costumes and Home run contest. We find out in literally an hour anyway.
The most unbelievable thing is midgard getting more songs lol

I know people probably don't share same feelings as I do but it's pretty crazy that we're approaching at 100 characters with Hero. I know some alt costumes doesn't matters to you but I just like them because Sakurai actually go far as it goes with some alt costumes.

It hasn't been disproven yet, and it conveniently coincides with the announcement that EVO's cutoff date for patches is the 17th, along with Nintendo performing large scale maintenance tonight (on "certain software"), and the July advert video that went up today. It's either going to die quickly or get proven right quickly.
So if I were to go on 4chan right now, be as detailed as possible without knowing "too much", and claim that something is coming soon at a specific time and day, that'd get people going?

The cuts for Smash 6 are going to be insane. Besides the obvious inclusions (Mario, Link, Pika Pika, etc.), nobody is safe.
Thankfully, Smash 6 didn't end up cutting a single character.

Given that the rumor claimed 10 AM PST, the rumor has another 17 hours to be proven right or wrong, so yeah, we'll probably be at Thread 4. I don't know why people are assuming it only has the lifespan of one more hour, it's basically got an entire day in the tank.
re: costume theory, the only companies that have had all their costumes align specifically with certain characters are Sega (VFs with Ryu, Sonics with Bayo, Sonics and Personas with Joker) and Squeenix (Geno and Chocobo with Cloud)

Maybe he meant that the update itself comes out tomorrow. We're talking about the New Content Approaching showcase vid, like what they did with Joker the day before he came out.
There are two possibilities I see: Overview video posted tonight with the release date being 10 AM PST tomorrow, or the overview video posted along with the hero being shadow-dropped at 10 AM PST tomorrow.

People are assuming an hour because people are assuming Hero/4.0 are gonna get an overview trailer and that said trailer will come out at the same time Joker's did (which is in an hour).
Maybe the 10AM timestamp is for the video and the character gets released on Thursday. Joker was also released on Thursday.
The time in the Lupin rumor is honestly the part that makes me doubt it the most (more than the FF music).
Why release details about the Dragon Quest character while Japan is fast asleep? It's not like the time that Joker's video dropped was random; 10 AM JST is a common time for Nintendo info drops (the monthly NES games are revealed at that time every month).

I'm so, so glad they announced both Hero and Banjo at E3. I was worried they'd announce one, then we'd speculate for months about whether the other was real or not. Now we can talk about other characters we know will never get in, but we'll keep the dream alive anyway!
Well everybody is saying 10am PST but the Nintendo Maintenance site says online will be down at 6pm PST which is also 10am JST...
