Ah. If they do a special reveal stream in conjunction of fighter 5 reveal, where they also talk about how wave 2 will be distributed, they might announce a Smash Ultimate physical re-release that comes bundled with the first fighter pass.

For my moba players, who would you like to see in smash? I think lee sin would be really cool and I can def see this as a possibility for fighter pack 2.

Very possible but makes me wonder, will they go with a Starter or someone else?
I love dota and it's one of my most played games (the complexity is incredible and has aged well), but the real answer is LoL given how much bigger of a presence it has

Smash Bros DLC significantly boosted digital revenue for Nintendo last year.
So much so that they made it a point to mention it at an investors meeting.
I read this way wrong. Also,in hindsight it's obvious it didn't make THAT much. That would be insane.

Thanks. I found few articles about that but for some reason they didn't even mentions the numbers of sales (661M) so I was wondering where it came from. Yeah but they had to emphasize that Fighter Pass made a huge contribution to it which is pretty crazy tho.

I'm not a fan of characters added solely for marketing purposes and I think they need to trim down the Pokemon they already have.
I'd love it. Sw/Sh have some of the best new designs in quite awhile.
Want nothing to do with Pokemon now. Need suggestions for smug cartoon animal character expressions though.
I'd be fine with a new Pokemon if it felt fairly novel, like Zacian/Zamazenta. But I'm done with humanoid ones. Incineroar already felt like a bridge too far for me.

Despite being the worst Lord in Fire Emblem history Corrin at least came into Smash a unique character.
I'd hate it more than another Fire Emblem lord, but only because I have a fairly good idea of which Pokémon it would be.
Cold comfort for me, since I don't really enjoy playing as them regardless.
You know, despite being a Fire Emblem fan I don't really like playing as any of the characters in Smash. Roy is the closest, I guess. I tried to get into Robin but they're just too sluggish.
The Pokemon Company needs to start pushing some non-starters as big marketing Pokemon, like they did for Lucario
Yes. I would be upset for any character that didn't exist before this platform tbh (like FETH, Astral Chain, etc).

We need more Jigglypuff and Lucario style Pokemon. Just regular Pokemon that people love and make for cool Smash characters that aren't Grass/Water/Fire
They did a good job last gen pushing Lycanroc and Mimikyu.
Neither of them go the push that Lucario got.
I don't think we have had a push for a non-starter like that since Zoroark.

true it would be weird, I enjoy both games. I mentioned a league character cause from my experience, a lot of people in the ultimate scene play LoL and vice versa. Invoker would also be cool
