Welcome to Super Smash Blog Thread where we would discuss about daily updates that should be posted on daily basis. Also this place would be home to more Smash speculations as usual where we would trying to figure who would be our next newcomers or echo fighters. Let's goooo! Once again I love the fact that everyone is back! So I don't really have huge expectations for the newcomers, but I wouldn't mind more new franchises to be represented in the game

Style Savvy character

Chorus Kids and Style Savvy still get games and sell well enough to earn representation.
Lip would be a proper puzzle game rep, which Dr Mario doesn't really do a good job of repping.
Ayumi would be the sole Adventure game rep.
Chibi Robo has managed to keep getting games somehow despite low sales, so I think it'd be cool if he finally got recognition.
Ryuuta and Wonder Red I just really want cause W101 and Ouendan are great.

To make my list harder, I set some extra criteria:
  • Series must have more than one game, not counting remakes.
  • No Third-Party characters (that makes it way too easy).
- Chorus Kids (Rhythm Heaven)
- Chibi-Robo (Chibi-Robo)
- Isaac (Golden Sun)
- Ray Mk III (Custom Robo)
- Sami (Advance Wars)
- Excitebiker (Excite)
- Dillon (Dillon's Rolling Western)

Honourable mentions go to Lip and Spring Man (who didn't make the cut because of Rule 1) and Stylist (because I ran out of slots).

As much as I wanted, and still want Amami Haruka as a new Bandai Namco rep for Smash Ultimate, I realized that there's little to no history between Im@s and Nintendo.

However, Bandai Namco does have a franchise that has a strong ties with Nintendo, and that is none other than Aikatsu.

While Bandai Namco's other franchise has strong presence in other platforms, Aikatsu had console exclusivity with Nintendo since the very beginning of its life, and continued to be so.

With the Aikatsu's popularity among kids in Japan, Nintendo can also broaden Smash audience once more, by introducing the game to the newer generation.

In short, Minato Mio for Smash!

Okay, icebreaker list consisting of mostly random characters that came to mind:

Ray01 (Custom Robo) -robots are cool
Erdrick (Dragon Quest) -no idea why we don't already have a DQ character
Simon Belmont (Castlevania) -need to round out the Captain N team
Tsubasa (Tokyo Mirage Sessions) -technically not Fire Emblem, more female characters is good
ST Falcon (Battle Clash) -giant robots are cool
ARMS character -I'm not picky which one
KOS-MOS (Xenosaga) -more modern Namco rep, robots are cool

Edit: Crud, I forgot Wonderful 101. We need something from that game.

I don't think so. Ray MK I's the original, Ray MK II's from the series' peak, Ray 01's from the American one, Ray MK III is the newest one.

If I wanted to make a really bold choice, I would have went with X-Ray. ...which I was admittedly kinda thinking if just because I was looking for a nice picture.

By the way, loving people's responses to Cordelia Blimey's icebreaker. I think this is your best one so far.

Panel de Pon series has more than 1 game even if you exclude all the entries that cut out the story and characters.
