The fan favorite often goes out on Day 38; it's just odd in this season because they didn't really bother to invest us in any of the Final 3.
So you didn't want anyone to (possibly) win if they ever came back? I mean, this was the known twist for the past 2 and a half months. And it was a real possibility for the last 4 weeks while Rick went nuts and overplayed himself.
They actively don't want you to be satisfied with the season, kind of like Kaoh Rong
I don't envy this editing team. I'm not sure there was much that could have been done to salvage either Julie or Gavin's games in editing. And they don't want us to like this winner even if they did (which means they would have been directed not to even bother with Julie). They probably would have done more with Gavin if he won this vote tonight (which doesn't seem likely).
Yeah, but they at least did establish Michele throughout the season even if they clearly wanted viewers to root for Aubry.

Having to play the entire game post merge is a lot different than coming in with an idol in your bag in final 6 lol
What does extincting even mean? Its just some bullshit for tv. He lazes around for 28 days while devin starves for every win

I haven't seen every season but I feel like there must have been one who was worse than what we'll get. Although I really wanted Rick to win. I'm really not sure who will win at this point.
