why the fuck would you get off the car and confront somebody if you can't fight? reminds me of this guy that did the same to one of my friends who is a damn maniac and around 6'4 and built. other guy was this small dude who got smashed. luck of the draw i guess.

I'm no legal expert but surely the racist husband slamming the door as the father tries to get out of his car at 21 seconds into the video counts as the first act of assault and/or battery? Like if I'm getting out of a car, then someone tries to slam my car door on me, that's assault.

Also nothing worse than people who try to threaten and intimidate someone, then immediatly coward out as soon as it gets too real for them.

In some states, such as states with stand your ground laws, the racists could've caught a bullet after cutting off the Hispanic family then approaching their car in a threatening manner.

The racists were clearly in the wrong and aggressive. The family that left the car and attacked don't come off looking too smart here though, you can tell the racists were all talk and were backing away after getting hit a few times. There really was no need to leave the car if they came up and then started running back. But what's done is done, not going to be upset about some racists getting a whooping. Pretty stupid of the daughter to post this video however.

They hurled slurs, cut them off and apparently threw bottles at the car.

People have been shamed online for less.

As for them getting out of the car, they were afraid as you can hear the mom calling police at the start backing off.

From her posts her parents are the "stand up for yourself and don't take shit from no one" type.

There had a small child in the car too.

When the racist fucks come up to their car and try and start shit you're full on defending your family at that point. Even if the assholes star

The kid got her mom literally recorded calling the police herself because they were being harrassed by the white racists.

As well as the white people harrasing them from their car.

I was honestly wondering if I was watching a different video from everyone else because if you're INTENTIONALLY CUTTING SOMEONE OFF ON THE GODDAMN HIGHWAY and then pulling over and walking by to start shit, you shouldn't get to act like you're the defense either. But IANAL

I watched the one where frightened parents called the cops asking for help, got forced to pull off the highway in speeding traffic and then stayed in their car until two people stomped towards their car threatening violence and yelling racist abuse until the parents finally got out and fought their actual assailants.

Seriously- is there another video?! This is bonkers.

Meh, looks like a road-rage incident to me.
Neither the SUV couple, nor the family and their parents look like educated, sophisticated people to me.
I'm all for smashing out racism, but don't start fights on the freeway - hope the law catches up to both parties.
