I discovered today that Toby Fox's Undertale will have three of its tracks as a Taiko no Tatsujin Switch/ PS4 DLC pack

The tracks featured are :
MEGALOVANIA
Heartache/心の痛み
Hopes and Dreams/夢と希望

October 10th
for Switch and October 24th for PS4.

The pack is 400yens+taxes (432) for both platforms
No video advertizing the pack but hey...

I don't know how to track western DLC releases... sorry.

source:
Switch dlc page.
PS4 dlc page.

This is my first topic, sorry for the formatting. I searched but did not find more info, sorry if already posted or if it's inappropriate to create a topic for DLC, please close and delete with my apologies :)

This came out today on Switch, just as a heads up. All versions of the game have it. £2ish for the pack.

Megalovania looks like it will kill people.

I'll ask in this thread since some Taiko fans may know. Is it worth importing the drum controller? Anyone have personal experience using either the PS4 or Switch drum? I've seen mixed things across reviews saying things about responsiveness and build quality and I don't want to just jump into the water. I would really like to play this game in a place that's not my local anime convention's game room.

never played this game before getting the Switch game, but I find the drum can take an absolute beating and hasn't been worse for wear in the 12 months or so I've owned it

definitely get one if you're up for spending that money

I have the ps4 drum. Sensitivity is an issue. There are tutorials out there for fixing it, but I haven't done so yet.

Also, definitely scooping this up.

Hopes and Dreams, holy shit.

Megalovania's the most famous song on that soundtrack, but Hopes and Dreams is easily the best (particularly if you cheat and bundle SAVE the World in too).

I bought the Switch version excitedly at launch with the drum (I'm in the UK so it wasn't as expensive as those having to import) but the sensitivity of the controller was all over the place. Couldn't get it to properly register much at all. I put it in a cupboard and just totally forgot about the game entirely.

That's interesting! I know Yoko Taro likes Undertale, and Yoko Taro's wife is the artist for the Taiko no Tatsujin games.

I don't see this on the UK Eshop yet, at least not on the website?
Between this, that Dragon ball pack and the Ghibli packs I'm spending way too much on dlc for this game lol

I've found that the sensitivity gets a bit better when it is "broken in" a bit.

Yeah, I imported the PS4 drum + game pack from Japan when it first came out. Drum feels good to me. Obviously small and light if you’re used to playing the arcade machine! And it’s noisy... you’re whacking plastic with a plastic stick. So make sure you’re home life can take that. But no problems with sensitivity for me and I play a lot.

Purchased this pack, the first DLC pack for Taiko that I've been tempted to purchase.

I have this issue with using the joy-cons, particularly the right one, on required faster motions it always double hits.......it's making two of the songs on this pack nearly unplayable. Only song I could get through without it becoming an issue was on Hopes and Dreams.

Me and the girlfriend only play this game on the easiest mode, so we can still manage to enjoy the game, but it's frustrating on the faster songs with more hits, means half your mind is focused on the issue and how you're moving the controllers to stop it double hitting.

Is this a known issue that anyone else has had crop up? Is it a case of the joy-cons have had it, and a new set would resolve the issue?

I'm really interested in getting those packs, are they worth it? also, do you know if DLC songs have ever been on sale? I just got the game since it was 60% off.
Yeah, both the Ghibli packs and the DB pack have some great songs in them that are super fun to play imo!

I don’t think the DlC has been on sale before but I could be wrong.
