I had preordered for Xbox One, thinking (foolishly) that the Xbox One X would probably slightly edge out the PS4 Pro in the graphics department. Then I saw this thread.
The good news is that I learned that Microsoft will let you cancel digital preorders.
Preordered on PS4 now.

As an Xbox One X owner... I have a PC with i7-8700k and Strix 1050 ti. Can I run this game in 1080/60? Dragon Quest XI was around 40-50 fps.

The recommended 970 is about 40% stronger. Are you waiting on a good deal for a card? Because your insanely good CPU is wasted on that one.

lol @ big companies like Namco cheaping out and not supporting Pro and X. Vote with your wallet people!

I am getting the switch version anyways but it is surprising that there is no Pro/X support at all. It will also be a travesty if the XB1X version is stuck with 30fps cap outside of battle. It is just lazy on Namco's part.

Disappointing that it's 30FPS outside of battles (or that you can't at least sacrifice resolution for 60FPS), but I've wanted to play Vesperia for a while and being able to play it on a portable makes it a no brainer.

Switch version it is. Was pretty much set in stone on the Switch as soon as I heard about it re-releasing anyways.

Now if only Persona 5 would drop on the Switch I could die a happy man.
