Why would they voice the previously unvoiced dialogue with a guy that sounds nothing like the original VA for yuri?
yea the art style is ageless. Looks superbThis game could be released Today for the first time and it would not look old to me. The game has not aged at all. It's so beautiful.

Guys any missables I gotta worry about ? I hate missing things in games and I just want a list of most important missable things if anyone knows.

Just checked, doesn't seem like it!So for anyone with the Switch version, does the in game timer keep going when you exit out to the menu or put the console in sleep mode? It drives me nuts when games do that since it screws up my actual total playtime lol.
This is Missables: The Game. Lots and lots of side quests are very missable.
I would suggest not sweating it and just playing through the game at your own pace. You would have to follow a guide extremely closely to not miss anything and it will not be fun.
Welp I guess I just gonna power through it and not worry about anything.....A lot of Side events/skits/supplemental world and character building content.

Yes, the first boss is notoriously difficult. Difficulty going forward isn't that bad - at least when I played it on 360.
Low costs/union issues. Why would they voice the previously unvoiced dialogue with a guy that sounds nothing like the original VA for yuri?
If you're going for plat, like me, and want to do almost all on the first playthrough then follow the Koulo guide above, have 1 person master all the recipe, stock up on Magic Lens and use it in all enemies, that should cover most of the missables.Guys any missables I gotta worry about ? To those who acquired the Switch version, is there a day one patch like on the Xbox One version? Thanks in advance.

You'd be right: It's his Full Check skill.(I think he also has a skill that lets you scan an entire enemy party with on lens, I might be wrong about that, though.)
Looks fine on my end (unless my screen is showing less than x16 AF):
I watched an unboxing at youtube and the steelbook was a disc case, not a switch one. Are there switch cases steelbooks?Total speculation, but given the eu edition of it houses the 4 disc soundtrack (so makes sense for both switch and ps4 versions), it's possible bandai europe commisioned it and bandai us decided it looked nice and ordered some, took out the extra disc holders but couldn't be bothered to add a switch card houser?

Matt Mercer was busy, I guess. Or maybe he finally got too big for anime games just like Troy did.
Troy was saying that he'd have done it if they ever approached him. He had no idea there was a ToV re-release until his fans on Twitter told him.
As much as people give shit to the Symphonia style games for TP, this was always the more egregious design decisionFuuuuu, and I immediately remember my biggest gripes with this game: locking basic movement options behind skills you need to learn.
I don't think Troy thinks he's too good for it. But he's definitely too expensive.
That's probably why he was kept in the dark about the whole thing.
Yup. My guess is, they reached out to his agent, his agent went "here's the price", they balked and walked away from the table.
Just a brief demonstration of a basic application of attack canceling for Yuri, using Zagi as an example:

I'm surprised they didn't just replace him entirely then. Guess I'll see how different the new voice is when I load the game up tonight.

I'm not. Re-recording all of Yuri's lines from scratch would be pretty expensive compared to just having the new guy record the new stuff.
He was asked but turned down the role. He basically said he doesn't want to be known as "the troy baker replacement" which makes sense.
Spell canceling's another neat thing, too. Raven and Estelle in particular could do some pretty nutty stuff once you got the hang of it.
The DLC costume titles? As soon as you start the game. Just open the item menu, and navigate to the DLC tab on the far right. At what point can I change titles to get the extra costumes?
Currently I have none of the costume titles.
