The delay is already paying off in spades. This is the most interesting the game has looked.
With this and the CTR remake, it a good time for Kart Racing fans.

This does look like it'll be fun, but it still just seems like such a let down that it's only a Sonic universe game, and not a Sega franchises one again. Some of my favorite courses in transformed were always based on stuff from other franchises.

Yes for the big ones at least. I don't think they've said anything about the Switch version yet.

I agree. I've been trying to google this info, but I've found nothing yet.
I am guessing sub HD 30fps switch versus 60fps HD on ps4 and xbox one.
I will always feel like something has been lost through the exclusion of non-Sonic characters and the inexplicable removal of flight and water-based gameplay (has NOTHING to do with whether it's a Sonic game or not!) but...

Those maps are looking much more fun then the first ones they showed off. Delay time is showing its magic.
Yeah it's the same for me, I can't believe CTR isn't 60fps. If it was I would have got that too but I honestly can't play a 30fps arcade racer.
Anyway the new footage looks really good, looking forward to this.
That Gematsu footage!. It looks like a completely new game. That bingo highway track is the best Sonic has looked in this whole generation. Damn. What a turn over!

As someone who absolutely loved the first Sonic racer, but never really got on with Transformed, this looks like a fantastic return to form.
all we need is some MK8D dlc to make this the best year for kart racers in forever. i'm a little bit more hopeful after they out of nowhere released dlc for captain toad.
the courses are looking great, but i hate the way karts spin forward while in the air. looks very dumb.

I doubt it will top SEGA AllStars Transformed... My favourite kart racer. I don't like the forced team battle system...But I'll still pick it up.

The rest of the development team came back, right ? (They finished their sci fi open world on XBox One if i remember. Or maybe this is just the same team without help but more time, indeed)
Pick whichever ver u know you can play multiplayer in.
I am likely to double dip getting both ps4 and pc ver because we have family get togethers. ....Actually wait i could just stream or connect my laptop via hdmi so i wouldnt need to get ps4 ver. And save my money for ctr on ps4 @_@
