Depends on whether you played Transformed for the mechanics or the character lineup. As someone who loved the rosters for the first two games, I'm on the fence for this one even if the gameplay's just as good.

Considering that's handheld mode, it doesn't look bad blown up on a bigger screen. 30fps as expected.
Man Nintendo do such a good job with Mario Kart, looks insane at 60fps.
Really hope the team mechanics are well implemented and hold up. Game could be pretty unique among kart racers if they pay off.
I liked the way some people have emphasized that it gives the player in first more to do like creating racing lines that their team can follow and juggling the items.

Recommended CPU requirements are actually kinda high for a game like this. Is it that much more complex than SART?

Your PC is right on the recommended specs tho. You'd be missing out on mods.

How did you come to the conclusion that pro was the best? Your computer will smoke this game comfortably. You'll have 1080p/60fps without question and improved settings + mods, unless your reasoning was just to play on a TV which is fair.
I loved all star racing and transformed and was hoping this would be more of the same, the all sonic cast and team based races is a major put off for me but I'm buying for the fact it's another kart racer on switch I can play with friends instead of Mario kart
Don't do that, PS4 community might suffer considerably once CTR drops.

But the standard experience is still a solid kart racer right? Not like its any worse
Im excited for a mode where last place is eliminated every lap. It just sounds tons of fun and I miss it from Burnout 3.
It's always great to see Sonic R getting some love. I adore CYFTS but i'd like to see some form of Back in Time in the game as well!
It definitely seems like it from the gameplay bits that's come out as of late. I'm feeling good about the game overall right now.
I thought I was listening to a SiIvagunner rip for a second there as Reach for the Stars randomly sneaked its way into an Unleashed remix.
I did not know I wanted this until I heard it tbh. It was a pleasant surprise to have Reach for the Stars jump in.
Do we know if this game is enhanced for PS4 Pro? Makes more sense for me to buy it on console for local multi, and there will probably be more people online, but I prefer buying games on PC. On the other hand, if it doesn't support 21:9, it'll be disappointing.

Just picked it up. No mention of PS4 Pro on the box. Hopefully it's not 1080p, and hopefully it at least runs at 60fps split screen.
I am definitely interested in the game, I loved All-Stars Racing Transformed. Unfortunately due to a tight financial situation during the next couple months I won't be able to buy it Day 1, but I definitely will be buying it in a few months time.
