To not have to pay residuals maybe? Same as the Silent Hill 2 re-release.
That'd be quite petty. I think a lot of what made this game so great was its cast of voice actors. Really enjoyed the performances there.
If they traded Troy Baker for Roger Craig Smith i'd be all over that.

They didn't get rid of the old VA's. Sabi clarified that she meant there's no new voice additions.
Gonna guess residuals and continuity when they do a new season with this new cast.

This is such a weird move.
The only issue with the games was that they were fairly buggy but that doesn't warrant a re-release and both seasons aren't even that old.

Hopefully they're not going to require people buy the DLC to get any bugfixes.
I'm way cool with replacing Troy Baker as Batman and Laura as Catwoman... and Travis Willingham as Harvey... but I already own it and I'm not gonna buy it, and I hope the new voices aren't phoned in.
You joke but while they probably won't do it I could easily see it having become a subject of great internal disagreements between Naughty Dog and Sony, considering just how many companies deselect unions.
