Is there any chance of an HD version of the original Chronicles? It's still frustrating that Nintendo chose to create a downgraded port of it instead of finally releasing it in HD.
Miiverse just died so it feels isolated to play it now. Please do this, Tetsuya!
The entire game is playable on just the gamepad with the map being an overlay menu as you swap the screens basically. It'd be better to rearrange the menu systems but basically it's ready to go, I'd say.
DO IT. My WiiU gamepad stopped working already (POS system) and I never finished the game.

Could they fit it on a 16 GB game card when the game was already 20-something gigs and used real-time cutscenes? Otherwise they'll have to wait for prices to go down.

The only problem I had with the game was the absence of a sequel. Which, yes, I hope they'll amend.
It could very well happen, XC will have a strong legacy and fanbase that hasn't diminished so far, the New 3DS version was a quick port to make that system a wee bit more attractive to hardcore Nintendo fans I think.
Nintendo seem to be more focused on salvaging their Wii U output via ports/remasters recently so I wouldn't be surprised if X is chosen over the original.
Someone should probably mention they should fix the sound mixing and maybe look at the final chapter again. Plus the font size, make it readable.
God my memory's bad. I just remembered this, even though i played about half of the game (50h?) exclusively off-TV. So green lights for a good port, i guess :)
I literally just played it around 90 hours Gamepad only. They made it annoying to get to the map but it worked. A version designed around one screen only wouldn't do it that way.
I would buy it. Put a lot of time into X but never finished it, even though it's a great game. Would love to have it on the go

I never really played it much on the Wii U. I didn't end up playing many games for the Wii U. I'd play this on the Switch more since it's portable.
