Was the moaning on Hurry really necessary though?I have to mute every time it comes up so others at my place don't hear it. Like with Tape You on N.E.R.D.'s first album and Stankonia's intro.

i'd say it's straight up house music, like early Chicago house music stuff
this production...
she was dead serious about Polo Ye
ye absolutely came THROUGH on this production. the strings, the samples, the drums...it's impeccable
really loving this album on the first few listens. Kids See Ghosts remains my fav, but I'd put this just behind it and on par with Daytona

it's the kind of album that SHOULD make teyana really blow up. it gives me that same vibe as SZA's CTRL, like the artist is finally coming into their own and presenting their creative vision & personality like never before.
this thing is like Ye's work on Alicia Keys' stuff meets Sweet Life-esque Frank Ocean, and it's really really dope.
him and 070 Shake just taking W after W in these few weeks. 070 shake is credited as a co-writer on WTP, meaning that she's been on every Wyoming album.

I'm about halfway through this...So far I'm really impressed at how much Teyana has grown musically, but I'm really annoyed at Kanye's over-reliance on vocal samples. I've never really cared about that particular criticism of Kanye's production style, but so far it's annoying that the samples are featured almost as prominently as Teyana's own vocals.
