I just wanted to say- I love the site. The look, the meaning. What it represents. Building a new beacon of honor and respect from the ashes of a bastion of hypocrisy and dishonesty.

I was beginning to miss an aggregator of news and current events, and craved a place where the discourse and discord alike were respectable, of common interest, and where the best ideas flourish, while dissenters can learn, adapt, and agree

Hello everyone, I'm happy to know you all, and continue this thing together, regardless and in spite of those that persist in "Believing" that we should accept their evil and continue to benefit them with our presence.

I'm proud, and optimistic.

Those of us who were in discord during the downtime couldn't even imagine how smooth the transition went given what went on. Especially after we've gotten threats from other groups intent on permanently breaking the community apart.

The discord was a wild right to say the least.

I was on the Slaent ride and never got to see into that beyond hints from people that made it on the boat. I can only imagine.

In all seriousness, I think a lot of us needed a break from feeling legit upset at so many things happening around that time, big and small - loot box abuse, EA shutting down Visceral, sexual harassment allegations against multiple people, Donald Trump everything, etc.
Not that we need to forget that stuff, but we definitely needed a break from all of it.

This feels like a true clean slate.

The fact that this all happened unexpectedly, and somehow we end up transcending into something great.

Not only is this forum leaps and bounds better, but the way the community banded together to get here was something to behold.

Yep, exactly how I feel too.

Hopefully the ivory tower and hypocrisy of the past won't follow us to here.

This is my first post on the site. I was a lurker (and a member for short while before requesting a ban due to personal reasons) of the other site, and Reset feels like a great, fresh new start. Not to mention the fact that things happened so quickly but the team here had been nothing short of excellent in their transition. Props to you guys! Happy to be a part of this awesome community! :)
