Welcome to the OT for the 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards Ceremony, where some all of your favorite shows duke it out for dominance. A whole bunch of classic shows have ended this season and hope to cement their legacy with a few trophies under their belt. The big one is the controversal beloved 8th season of Game of Thrones, which holds the record for the most nominations in Emmy history. The show hopes to take in at least a few of those trophies for themselves.

I don't know if it's just me but I felt no anticipation for this year's Emmys. I usually love award shows but had no idea this was even happening today...

I hope Anthony Carrigan and Sarah Goldberg take some wins tonight. They are fantastic in Barry and need more recognition.

I mean, I'm already salty about it and Ioved the vast majority of GOT. Should I take this to mean you guys think it actually deserves to win for this season?

I don't think it deserves the writing award, but other awards are ok with me. I don't think it was the best show this season (though there were some great episodes) but if they choose to recognize the work of the cast and crew to put on a show unlike anything ever aired on television before I won't complain.

i'm watching the fox livestream and apparently my cable doesn't cover it?? Anyway I'm using the 1 hr preview they have and apparently that time also includes commercials loool

Boy the comedy categories are extremely strong. No idea how I'd even vote for that writing one.
