Update on today's deluge: Our partners have now killed a large number of ad sources and as a result we believe the problem should be greatly reduced, if not solved altogether.

Constantly getting redirected to some Verizon ad on iOS. Been happening all day, but still happening now.
It seems to be fixed for me. The site was completely unusable before and now it been working fine for like 15 minutes.
I'm still getting the redirect, i just got it 5 times in a row and had to close the window each time to get away from it.
I'm about to adblock Era.

This just started happening to me a few minutes ago. I thought it was a virus for a few. Can't even view the site on my phone right now.
Getting spreedlp.com redirects constantly again. Got 4 redirects as I tried to locate and reply to this thread. Happened 2-3 times earlier today but then for an extended period had no issues, until it started back up again in the past few mins.

I'll add to the chorus of android users getting the redirect. It's basically made the site unusable on mobile for me.
We're looking into this right now and have been for the entire day. If this doesn't get better soon, we're going to disable ads until it's fixed.
Update: we've taken some extreme temporary measures on our end to curtail this until it gets properly resolved by our ad partners.

Every single new tab is an ad before I can even click on them. Doesn't even begin rendering the page, just goes straight into the ad.

To be clear, you guys are seeing these recently? As in like the past hour or two?
It keeps happening to me. I had to enable a content blocker on my iPad just to stop it from loading that Amazon ad that turns into porn.
For context, we turned off all mobile ads about two hours ago. We believe we may still be seeing some malicious ads getting through on legacy themes, as that codebase is different.

Not anymore, but I think what I experienced was right at the tail end of it, and a few of my tabs were still open, so when I checked again they had all already loaded into the Congrats page. After reloading the main Era page every tab I open since then doesn't have the issue and I'm not even seeing any banner ads on any pages at all.
Clarity in timing: around 8:30p CST or so is when I reloaded Era and the issue disappeared.
Just started getting them earlier today in thethe afternoon. Around 1:30pm cst.
I got that ad a minute or two before I made the post.

I've been getting a lot of redirects recently. Yesterday I couldn't even load the main gaming forum front page without being redirected almost immediately. Notably I remember that having some kind of messaging on it that specifically mentioned that I was in Portland (OR) that day, so maybe it had something to do with my WiFi connection. This is on an Android phone btw.
Today it hasn't been quite as bad, but I've still gotten maybe 6 or 7 redirects in the past 15 minutes, and in fact I'm writing this in a separate text file because I was redirected while I wrote this originally. Most of them have been going to http://samsung-41d.club/lp which has faux YouTube branding and seems to want me to complete some kind of survey about my YouTube habits, saying I'm "one of the 10 users who's been personally selected to win an iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy 8". There is no "or" or "and" in the message, that's a direct quote so it's pretty obviously suspicious, seems clearly auto generated.

We've reenabled ads to help the ad provider debug the redirects. We'll have more of an update as the day progresses.
I see that ERA has decided to replace that browser crashing Express ad with a Moe's ad that has the same exact behavior.

They're a pretty despicable hate group, and I imagine that Resetera wouldn't want to promote them.
