Getting a ton of browser takeover ads as mentioned by others here, redirects to sweepstakes and junk. More recently from www.adioco.com

Super annoying, been making it hard to browse mobile. Pixel 2, Chrome, Ontario Canada

Looks like a major outbreak in the UK this time.

It's unfortunately pretty common for malicious ad makers to slip these in on the weekends when support is slowest. I've notified the relevant people and hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

They shouldn't be refreshing the whole page but some ads do have different heights.

Whew. Ok, thought it was just me. Getting hit with the same full page "good luck ad" above. On Apple mobile device, first started seeing it yesterday. Forces me to completely close the page. Have had to completely get off ERA from it 3 times in the last 5 minutes.

It's not much but a good way to recover your page is to hold down the back page arrow on Safari and select the most recent instance of ResetEra.

Thanks for the update, I accidentally clicked something on the "happygoodluckspace" ad direct on my iphone (closed out immediately) and I'm worried that my phone might get a virus

Usually the bad pop-ups happen on url changes but these seem to have scripted timers or have hidden graphics in unrelated pages which seems unlikely.

As for viruses you should be diligent but merely seeing a page and not interacting with it is probably harmless but you should scrub cookies
