Yo I'm actually interested if this is the case

Also freaking Elsa BloodstoneAbsolutely agree. And MUA3 just keeps adding more comic-faithful characters by the day, it feels like – Ghost Rider and Luke Cage just earlier today!
Actually you unlock new skills every ten levels(starting with one) and as you upgrade them each different skill gives you a passive buff tooI'm still waiting to see some actual substance akin to the previous games (including X-Men Legends 2).
We've seen ZERO from the actual mechanics/rpg elements. I see no gear to equip or loot drops to speak of.
What is this game, even?
It's frankly bizarre how they're clearly inspired by the MCU, but are going out of their way to not be the MCU.
Spider-Man PS4 did this much better.
It's not, see my other post

Also unlike previous games there's no xp share so you have to focus on leveling up individually
As for loot there's collectibles and iso8 which adds as equipment(you start with 1 slot unlocked but eventually have four) that can modify various stats
Alt costumes are also back
Official site is up lots of good info and bios on all revealed characters
this was it for me, more than the faces. it's really unfair to the game that my brain spent the whole trailer genuinely expecting to hear the MCU voices, but that's what happened. every syllable of not-hemsworth felt bizarre out of thor.
Shame, but I t doesn't seem too loot intensive and I like skill trees. Just don't want to be inventory managing constantly. I liked it in Diablo and that's about it.

I have no problems with the art styles of either game tbh, but there is absolutely nothing so remarkable about MUA3s artstyle that it makes me ignore literally everything else the Avengers game seems to have going for it...
I mean it does have loot. That's why I said read my other post. Also you get to manage points given to special attacks that all give you different bonus effects. Again this is all in my other postShame, but I t doesn't seem too loot intensive and I like skill trees. Just don't want to be inventory managing constantly. I liked it in Diablo and that's about it.

The outrage over the character faces is so exaggerated right now, yet the combat, lighting, effects, etc., that was shown during the presentation blows MUA3 out of the water...
The two games are going for entirely different things, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting porn parody vibes during that Square-Enix reveal lol.
I know.
That's pretty much it. The iconic realistic imagery of the Avengers is the MCU version, anything that tries to be realistic is going to be compared to it.It's hard when you're going for realistic graphics but the faces aren't what people have become accustomed to.
I honestly don't get the complaint of "bootleg Avengers". Did anyone honestly expect them to be the movie likenesses and actors?
Just goes to show that artstyle goes a long way. Yeah, Avengers is clearly the more technically advanced game, but it feels like it's missing something. Like it has no soul of its own. I'm sure it'll come into its own and distinguish itself from the MCU as we see more of it, but for a first showing it was rough.
(Side note: Getting Nolan North to play Tony was a terrible idea, because all I can hear is Deadpool).
Random narrative? People have been shitting all over the Avengers game from the moment it was revealed, that's not random at all.
I mean. They are the dream team of voice actors.Which made it funnier when they cut to actors roundtable, like they thought they had the dream team of voice actors and this is a big deal.
That whole reveal was completely tone deaf.
lolwut. This is nonsense. Are we seriously going to claim the best VA's in the industry can't act now?All the voice actors were bad choices, honestly. Laura Bailey as Black Widow just sounds like regular Laura Bailey. None of them can disappear into the roles they were given because none of them are even trying to.
This is the same sort of treatment as Spider-Man, but you don't see people whining about Peter Parker not looking like Tom Holland or Toby Maquire.
To be totally honest it looks like the bare minimum amount of loot you could give a game like that. It's one of the things I'm disappointed with it.I mean it does have loot. That's why I said read my other post. Also you get to manage points given to special attacks that all give you different bonus effects. Again this is all in my other post
Laura Bailey's been the voice of Natasha for a while now, so she's fine to me even if she sounds like she always does. All the voice actors were bad choices, honestly. I said the same thing just above. I think the difference between this and PS4 Spider-Man is that the PS4 Peter Parker was a good design, whereas these just aren't that appealing for whatever reason.
