The Bleeding Edge - Netflix's new medical device documentary

Just watched this on Netflix, it was released yesterday. It's directed by Kirby Dick (The Invisible War, The Hunting Ground), so it's unsurprisingly a very powerful piece of investigative journalism about the nature of the medical device industry, focused on the rather lax standards set by the FDA for passing technology through to doctors.

It's not for the faint of stomach but easily one of Netflix's best docs on a while. Recommended.

Oh so this is the docu about essure people were talking about the other day.
Some medical companies are really shady, and having to deal with them often is a PITA
