The self-image that people have is so shocking sometimes. I've photographed beautiful people who feel really fucking ugly. They can't even look at their own photos (not anus or vagina related, by the way). And there is very little i could do to make them feel as beautiful as they really are.

It's sad that women feel pressure to do this. I don't feel like they should be pressured to shave or wax either.

I didn't even know this was a thing or why someone would even care.

I'm guessing it goes more like them giving dirty looks or being disgusted because it doesn't look like their favorite porn star. No different than guys that react negatively to women that keep their pubic hair.
I know an awful lot of women in their low to mid twenties who don't want to date, or exclusively date older men specifically because of how many younger men have horrid expectations due to porn. So many young women have been surprised with violence or anal during sex because their partners just expected that that was part of the menu that didn't even need to be asked about, and the body shaming is out of fucking control.
