• Will change the project if Capcom sends a C&D or announces a actual DC Remake
• Expanded Areas and new elements (Not a 1:1 remake)
• Using already created Dinosaur Assets to help with Development

For the effort of 5 people on a free project, it's looking good so far. The newest trailer is already showing some of the new elements they're incorporating into this remake.

While not a Remake, The RE Classic Rebirth crew are doing DC 1 and DC2 now

Dino Crisis Remake/Reboot from Capcom will be a 2022 game. Trust me.

It took RE6 bombing + REmake remaster selling well for Capcom to finally decide to do RE2 Remake.
Maybe they remaster some of the old games to gauge interest but I wouldn't expect a remake or reboot any time soon.
