I wish the gear sets were better. The only one worth a damn seems to be True Patriot. Maybe they'll add better ones or tweak them.

All three raid sets are good and each offers different playstyle. Even Ongoing directive and true patriot are good, you don't have to chase meta to do good damage and have fun. If you play solo or with friends who cares what you wear, just use what you like.

So, I have a classified assignment at the National Bond Armory just north east of the White House. Is this soloable? The two people I mostly play with don't have the Season Pass, so I dont think they can do this. I'm level 19 with pretty decent gear right now.

Well, finally jumped in after a good deal was posted on ERA. Played a load of the first game, so its interesting to see how the 2nd one shapes up. Only level 6 and already the combat feel is better but the game is still chock full of endless menus that I have no idea what they are for. Seems like a massive overload of info from the start haha,

Have they ever fixed the barber bug, Haven't touched the game in about 6 weeks. Was awful seeing my character look nothing like the one i created. Game was glorious looking on my OLED though with Neutral lighting applied.

I just checked the Era clans I'm in and PS seems pretty dead clan wise.

Not playing the game on Xbox so no idea how clans are doing but I expect more players will return when some updates have dropped.

i finally jumped in this week, currently at lvl 15. played div1 starting with the famous 1.8 patch. but so far i love this even more.

but getting a matchmaking group together for running through the story missions is pretty rare. guess i am too late and the chunk of players is already in the endgame.

Anyone getting weird performance issues on PC after updating Win10 to 1903? I never had too many issues in the past. Loaded the game up today and in combat it would just hang there for a second or two before working again. It was really odd.

So, I knew nothing about this game coming into the Free Weekend, but I figure why not. Got to level 6 and pretty much cleared out the adjacent district to the starting point. I can definitely see how this game would be more fun with friends, or even strangers. Solo just felt too lonely. Too bad I don't know anyone in-person who plays video games.

Nice to know that with the Gunner update that they're changing the skill tree so that you can power up any 3 of your gun classes instead of having them assigned to a specific specialization tree.

Finally got a mask with 40% DTE elites. That makes 3 weeks of playing daily where the only upgrade to my build was 2% DTE, despite having two pieces I'm hoping to drop with different roll combinations (mask and gloves).

Again, still love the moment to moment gameplay, and really love my build even though it's not really any of the popular ones...just hoping TU4 doesn't nerf it too bad (headshot damage AR and reload speedare pretty huge losses to me...AR headshot build, but hoping the 15% AR damage and some minigun set bonuses make up for it).

Played for the first time in a couple of months and it seems buggier than it was back when I last played. There seems to be an issue with random vanity items such as hats or sunglasses refusing to equip (After googling I discovered restarting the game seems to resolve). Also the equipment UI seems buggier, I have to double click on things multiple times before they finally equip ??

I haven't really been following development so maybe this stuff is known and will be fixed in the next update...

Notes are up now:

New specialization: Gunner
Introducing the first post-launch Specialization! The Gunner is equipped with a powerful minigun and will serve as the vanguard for SHD agents.

Special Field Research
  • To unlock the Specialization when Title Update 4 hits the live servers, you'll be tasked to complete five stages of in-game challenges!
  • Year One Pass owners will unlock the Specialization immediately but will also be able to go on a Special Field Research, unlocking unique cosmetic rewards!

Clans
  • Changed Clan Weekly Projects to be easier to complete for smaller clans.
  • Reduced CXP requirements for each tier of Clan Cache.
  • Invites and join requests that have not been responded to within 28 days will automatically be removed from the clan inbox.
  • Added last online status to show when clan members were last active.
  • Added a weekly reset timer the clan progression menu, giving a clear indicator on when you will be able to collect your cache.
  • Added indicators for members already in a group, and how many free spaces are available on the clan roster page.
  • Added a new "Keyword" section in the clan details, allowing players to choose from a list of predefined words to describe their clan.
  • Added "Keyword" search functionality when looking for a clan.
  • The clan member who earns the top distinction of the week will receive a medal icon over their name in the clan roster.
  • Clan insignia is now visible when using photo mode

Mods
  • Generic Protocol Mod and Generic System Mod can no longer be equipped in High-End, Gear Set and Exotic items.
    • You will still be able to equip them in lower quality items.
    • All other mods can be equipped in slots matching their type (Offense, Defense, Utility).

Developer comment: Generic mods could be stacked in unhealthy ways and the gear mod eco system has not been in a place we are happy with and it had led to some unwanted behavior such as low-level farming for generic mods.

Missions
  • Roosevelt Island
    • Shipping containers containing virus samples will now be easier to spot.

Projects
  • Specific talents requirements for project donations has been removed.
  • Replica/crafted items requirement for project donations has been removed.
  • Added World Tier 5 requirements for some projects.
  • Increased rewards for most projects.

Specializations
  • All Specializations have received a talent tree rework.

NPCs
  • Removed "bulletproof" backpacks from NPCs that would block all incoming damage.
  • Decreased acceleration of NPCs when repositioning in cover.
  • Enabled Engineer archetype NPCs to setup Turrets on the ground if no valid cover position exists.
  • Fixed various issues with Controller archetype NPCs getting stuck or being unresponsive in certain situations.
  • NPCs can't be suppressed when deploying a Drone.

UI
  • Removed redundant "!" for new items shown in Cache Content in Proficiency Caches.
  • Apparel Caches should now only display a "!" in the UI when a key is acquired and once the key has been seen should disappear.
  • There's now a timer that shows the cooldown before being able to kick a player from a group.

Skills
  • Further improved the Reviver Hive which should result in it more reliably reviving downed agents.
  • Assault Drone
    • After killing its current target, the Assault Drone will now attack the enemy the player is currently shooting. If no target is being shot, it will attack the closest enemy to its owner instead.

Exotics
  • New Exotic Holster: Dodgy City Gunslinger's Holster

Talents
  • Rooted
    • The talent description now states the intended cooldown of 60 seconds.

Commendations
  • Further improved Discovery Merits to allow loot boxes opened by other players count towards every group member's progress.

Dark Zone
  • Players can now go Rogue in the Occupied Dark Zone. Dealing damage to other Agents (outside of your group) will cause the player to disavow The Division.
  • There is no grey Rogue in the ODZ. Damaging other Agents is the only way to go Rogue in the ODZ.
  • Additional Manhunt ranks have been added to the ODZ. Players still have to clear their bounties at SHD terminals, but additional rewards are available to players who clear (or claim) a high rank bounty.
  • Manhunt ranks are now infinite in the ODZ. Killing other Agents increases the player's Manhunt rank, along with their Dark Zone XP rewards on a successful bounty clear. Compete on a new leaderboard for the highest ODZ Manhunt rank!

PvP
  • Rifle PvP damage modifier increased to 1.7.
  • Shotgun PvP damage modifier increased to 1.65.

Only played for a bit, but the gunner spec seems alright. I think once you fully spec the tree, it'll be a lot better. The base damage is kind of eh, so you probably need the sig weapon damage upgrade. Foam nades seem good for CC, but they have a super small radius. I'd rather use incendiary nades because of the larger radius and they do damage as well as CC.

Like I said early impressions, it's probably better once I have some of the tree filled out.

The in game challenges to unlock the gunner specialization (before even unlocking the various parts of the tree) looks like it would take...8 hours? Woof. I thought the challenges would be a quick hour or two.

All that bollox and still haven't fixed the barber bug LUL, Just went and seen if they did but nope, Still look nothing like the character i created. I'll just use the new mask they gave for season 1 owners and as i typed this, Just got DELTA 03 crash again for the 2nd time in 5 minutes. Go's out of it's own way to stop you playing, Also laughable " missing texture pack " on my assault weapon.

Just picked up the game over the weekend. Almost level 20 and I'm enjoying it more than the first game.

Cool to see they added a FOV option on console. Definitely will be adjusting that.

Assume its just because of the FOV change but everything seems much faster, smoother and snappier to me. Also my LMG reticle is so tight and stable even though I'm not running any specialisation stats to boost the handling yet. Feels great imo, something is definitely different as well as the fov.

Well, at this point, I may come back when they revamp the crafting and the limit caps on many things, and when the skill builds are more viable and fun to use.

Finished the storyline and reached level 30.
Is there anything really interesting to do besides repeating the story missions with Black Tusk enemies?

So the nerfs hit hard. 25% less headshot damage, 30% less weapon handling, 30% less reload speed not at all offset by the +15% assault rifle damage I can now unlock. In the shooting range, my DPS went from 1.1 million to 700k. Woof. Hoping the Gunner unlocks like reload speed and stability bonuses help a bit once I get it all done.

I haven't really been following development so maybe this stuff is known and will be fixed in the next update...

So I fired it up quickly this morning after installing the new update and it appears these issues have been stealth fixed (as there is no mention of either of these 2 issues in the patch notes)...unless the issues only surface when grouped up. Hopefully its all good now though

One thing I noticed in the UI is the primary and secondary weapons now have huge ticks on them so they can be easily identifiable, useful...although it looks a bit cheap.

Finished the storyline and reached level 30.

Well essentially that is the end game currently. Repeat missions, raising your gear score to progress through the World Tiers with the ultimate goal at the moment to take on the raid. That may not be for everyone and alot of ppl may drop it when they hit lvl 30 and wait for the next content drop, the first one is due next month and it may have GS requirements before it can be played. We'll have to wait and see....

Jumped back in last night after playing a few hours months ago. Level 12 I think. They totally changed gun mods right? I seem to remember each one had a drawback now it's all just stat boosts.
