I'm downloading this again. Hopefully the player numbers will see a boost. I know I can run the missions I need solo but it's so much more fun with a group. I may just start a new agent fresh though.
Had no intention of getting Division 2 but here I am doing the first mission with randoms and having fun. Gonna end up doing it like I did the 1st game, roam and explore and group up for missions.
Is anyone else jumping in because it's so cheap now? Is there dlc I should get, I know the game has been out a lil while.
i've disliked how to get gear since launch i don't think 2.0 will change that
finding the perfect stat drop from 5 variables, as well as single recal choiceIs it the act of looting itself or rather how the grind goes? Because gear 2.0 changes how gear grinding goes big time

If you do side missions and explore which is a lot of fun you are looking are 20-30 hoursIf I buy this with my buddy and we just want to complete the main story campaign how long are we looking at?
TU6 changes the 5 variables into 4.I'm gonna assume you haven't played since TU6 or before that as they added targeted loot, allowing you to farm specific zones/missions for specific loot/brands
And in addition, the new recal system in Gear 2.0 allowing you to store the stats you want indefinitely.
Should I get the year 1 pass? I see it's on sale, is it a must or not much.
How long is the main campaign without the side stuff? If you do side missions and explore which is a lot of fun you are looking are 20-30 hours
if you run from mission to mission i'd say like 10 hours?
Just confirmed in SOTG right now: asked and found out that you cannot pet the cat in the new base of operations in Warlords of New York.
I'm very disappointed.
Sweet. Now obviously I won't just run from mission to mission but it's good to hear the core campaign has a bit of meat to it.
the overworld isn't very hard but they are adding a way to increase the difficulty for it with WONY.So it's been probably over 6 months since I played this. I jumped in a few hours ago and at WT5 it's pretty damned easy. Am I missing something? Is there a higher world tier now? I'm not sure how to make the game more of a challenge.

If you want challenge, do the missions on higher difficulty like challenging or heroic
Mastery stuff is more like challenges you do.I'll do that then. Also, mid-misson a popup came on the screen about Mastery Levels. Is that just another difficulty you select for the missions?
Does anyone who just grabbed the game want to do the player referral stuff with me? I want those cosmetics. :O
Kneel And Flex (KNF) Clan. I'm back on sporadically now with Episode 3, but will be on a lot come March 3rd.
If you're playing anyway, the only loot worth looking at is loot with exceptionally high attributes (40k health, 1000 skill power, 20% headshot damage, 15% weapon damage, etc.) as you can store those stats for recalibration come March. But yeah, otherwise, all level 30 gear will quickly become trash.Lol I not even attempting to collect loot until the expansion.
Yeah, this game is in a really weird place right now which is why I think they should have delayed and released Episode 3 along side Gear 2.0 right around the 1 year anniversary as a celebration of sorts and then released the Warlords expansion a week or two later. All sounds good. Did the 2 missions with episode 3 today and will pick up when loot 2.0 drops, don't see the point in farming now when it'll all change then, especially when exotics aren't upgradable but thank god they are adding higher difficulty = better stats/attributes on gear, no more doing heroics and getting shite returns from it.
I always thought they would bring back Survival but with a heavy fog + air toxicity level to replace the snow and cold from Div 1.I really wish they would have delayed Episode 3 for Year 1 until the first week of March and launched it along side Gear 2.0 while launching the NY expansion a week or two later. I just have no desire to play currently.

Besides that while this is a Tom Clancy licensed game franchise which will keep it somewhat grounded I think Massive should throw some kind of global weather situation in the mix with extreme dynamic weather patterns that could create different weather-types in places you wouldn't expect and/or just extreme storms, etc overall no matter the biome/location or time of year/season. This would quell all the folks clamoring for snow as weather is something the Snowdrop engine does well and I think something like this would just add to the experience/atmosphere.

Global difficulty/modifiers and the return of Legendary missions is music to my ears.
If I find gear with those stats should I hang on to them or can you deconstruct and the stats will store? If you're playing anyway, the only loot worth looking at is loot with exceptionally high attributes (40k health, 1000 skill power, 20% headshot damage, 15% weapon damage, etc.) as you can store those stats for recalibration come March. NO! All the DLC missions are free to everyone, year 1 pass people just get it a week early. You would be throwing your money away.
I would do the Friend Referral as I just started ysterday but I'm on PS4.
While I agree it's not worth it at full price, (it's currently £5 on psn) the 8 classified assignments and instant unlock of the Specialisations are well worth the £5 imo.NO! Keep 'em. On March 3rd with Gear 2.0 you'll be able to deconstruct and store them.If I find gear with those stats should I hang on to them or can you deconstruct and the stats will store?
