This came up in my Youtube feed today... and i just felt like making a thread on it.
The emotion here present in just mostly two proud men looking at each other is remarkable. The dialogue here is minimal, the performances are entirely in how they look at each other.
The beauty of Picard being the one to beam O'Brien off the ship. The focus on Picard's face afterwards.
It's enough to make you cry, and it did for me.
Just a beautiful scene.
And a simple example of why Picard was such a great Captain, he cared deeply about his crew even though not on the bridge
