LOL @ sad list. It has most of the major Japanese and Western publishers.
They're not, the ESA is a train wreck, and E3 itself is from an era when social media and internet virality were simply not a thing. It doesn't belong in the modern age, and it will gradually diminish in relevance more and more with each passing year.

Nintendo doesn't need E3 to do Treehouse. I'm actually surprised they continue to attend E3, they're the company that needs it least.
What are you comparing it to, though? Because this list would be identical three years ago too. The only difference is Sony would be on there. So their omission makes it sad?
