I don't know, I'm interested to see what Xbox and Ubi are doing.

Maybe WB is showing that Harry Potter game that leaked a while back?

Also looking forward to more ESO stuff and curious to see if Bethesda shows Starfield.

It's a far cry from what it used to be though.

I think the fact people weren't surprised by Nintendo apparently opting out of E3 will make them consider the option seriously for next year

I understand why people don't like the ESA. But I don't understand why ResetERA is celebrating the death of a gaming centric week. Heck, the E3 made headlines in mainstream media every year. They talk about it on Dutch radio, there are newspaper articles about it, etc. I'm sad we won't have a big gaming week in the future.

Is Sony doing it's own show completely separate to E3 or is it just not doing anything around E3 time?

Still too many big publishers there to even consider sleeping on it. I'll be up watching as always.

To be fair, Sony and Geoff Keighley not being there pretty much kills it for most people.
Edit: I just now realize this is probably sarcasm. If not, my post below applies.

Most people lol? So are most people just Sony fans and play literally no other games at all?

Elden Ring? The new Batman game? Babylons Fall?
Yeah I don't think that's true. At all.

While I think E3 is in trouble that is basically every major studio outside of Sony.

I'm not one of those "i hope e3 dies" types.
E3 will always be the thing i care about the most every year in the video game world because it's been Christmas morning levels for over 25-30 year's for me. Whenever i first started getting EGM's reading about them.

i don't care if Pax or Gamescom is bigger
They are not the excitement levels that are e3 to me. When these other events are announced i don't get hyped because the reveals aren't as impactful imo
I agree. I love E3. I love having a day off, sitting at my computer and just relaxing and watching announcements and demos and interviews. I agree E3 needs to change to stay relevant but I dont want it to go away

Will be curious to see what MS does. And obviously to see Nintendo's presentation. The rest... Not so much. (Maybe Ubi will surprise with something exciting? Maybe Bethesda will have Starfield ready, though I doubt that.)
