There is an extreme delay before it ends up on european netflix though. I had already imported, recieved and finished the american bluray box of season 2 before it was available to stream over here. And I watched it with three friends. That's four less viewers for netflix, and I'm sure we were not the only ones who had procured the second season some other way before it streamed here. I can't imagine it living up to its full potential unless it's available on netflix globally at the same time.
Well, purchasing the Blu Ray still shows a strong message of support to the financers, at least. So rock on for that! But I agree, the streaming deals kind of suck over here in the States too. It's on Prime (and not Netflix ;_;) but Season 2 still isn't available unless you pay to rent or purchase.
Just completed S1 and S2. Wow what a final. I was absolutely at the edge of my seat during that last episode! When does Season 3 come out?
No date has been set, but some sources say that it will probably air later during the year compared to the last season (which aired through feb-apr 2017).
It's pretty okay if they air this on the middle of the year, so that would mean we have discovery for the early part of this year, then the expanse in the middle and the orville at the end of year.
And got around to finishing up the second season of expanse. Just really good stuff.
It's now my favorite show on TV. Not saying its the best show on TV (although it is pretty damn great). Just saying for my own personal interests which always lean towards sci-fi material, its the best thing going.

In the same boat here! Finished it just now and I'm SO invested in this. This is one special series. Doubting if I should pick up the books now, or just continue watching it as I've grown to adore it this short timespan. Not knowing the general plot is keeping me on the edge of my seat. Then again, if the books are just as good, I'd still get that same experience there. Hmm.

I bought the 'season pass' on Amazon. If it's like last year though it means each episode won't be available until the day after it airs. Still, I'm excited!

Hey guys, I've been incredibly busy and won't be able to make a S3 OT until next week sometime. Quit my job today and going on a vacation lol, but have a couple weeks after until I see my new job. If someone wants to make a OT please feel free too, if not I guess use this for the first two weeks.
But even if it's a placeholder someone should post in the OT community that S3 is starting tonight. We can morph it into the OT overtime.

More people need to watch this show. Sadly I have yet to succeed at convincing any of my IRL friends and family to watch it, because stupid fucking piece of shit Bell Media owns the rights in Canada, so it's not on Netflix here...

I had heard The Expanse was something to check out with the recent Amazon news...but MAN.
This shit is so good. I havent been hooked on something like this since Game of Thrones seasons 1-2. I binged season one and two with my wife in a week. Plan on getting into S3 tomorrow. I recently bought an LG OLED TV and it is glorious on there. The space battles are great, hell the entire show looks so damn good. I was expecting some cheese SyFi shit but after a few episodes I was hooked.
