Yeah, it was pretty obvious that dude was looking good.
But I don't think anyone was ready for those PECS.
he used them all that's why he's rippedHow did Chidi ever decide what exercise to do or machine to use
'Cause damn

I thought it would be the name of the first human that figured it out like the other guy in S1 but when he wrote it out and explained it I lost it.Goddamn.
That was amazing.
Like, that was insane. Jeremy Bearimy killed me.
I was hoping it was a HHG2TG reference, with the immortal guy who went around insulting people wishing his flight plan spelled out something rude.Jeremy Bearimy seemed like a definite reference to Wilbbly-Wobbly-Timey-Wimey.
Adorable, yeah. I loved that part of the episode. And Tahani's cluelessness always makes me smile. This was a good followup to her gaff when Eleanor won the lottery.Tahani and Jason handing out money was so cute. You don't have to say the "are you poor" part lmao
Ripped Chidi is the biggest reveal on this show since the season 1 final.
I didn't see them coming.
I mean ...believing is one thing, actually seeing it was quite the suprise.

Damn...guess I need to hit the gym again. Chidi making us nerds look bad..wtf.
lol
It's probably more the actor is buff than the character was in mind
Dear white people also had a black nerdy character that is timid like Chidi but then he goes shirtless and is super buff
They explained away that he does karate as a kid that made think that the actor was buff and it's not something the creators had in mind
I loved this part. It showed Eleanor picking up Chidi from his low point, just as he helped her through hers.
I also really liked the explanation of having their motivations corrupted simply by learning that both Places exist.
Strictly speaking, doesn't that mean that you're guaranteed to go to the Bad Place just for believing in religion?

BraletteThat was my favourite episode in a while. Chidi losing his mind was incredible, just a shame we didn't have Simone there to react to it too.
also god damn get Chidi a bra
They said they're gonna release an extended version of last night's episode that's at least 5 minutes longer!
I'm surprised people are surprised by Chidi being ripped. Wasn't he shirtless before?
If you have a cable service that includes free NBC On-Demand it will probably show up there eventually. Most of the episodes of the first two seasons have had extended episodes that showed up there. How are they going to release a longer version? Like on the DVD set?
Extended episodes are on the NBC app. You typically need a cable login to use it. I think S1 and S2 eps are up but I don't know about S3.

I feel like Chidi's Ned Flanders body was established or maybe I've just been imagining him topless this whole time.

I think the implication is that because the four have learned the legitimate truth about the Good and Bad Place given to them by actual representatives of those places, as opposed to just a religious idea or interpretation created by humans, that's what's disqualifying them.
