I think it's great.
I can't wait to see total nonsense condensed down to three movies.
Damn! 5?! Alright! Okay! Alright!
Everything pre SEED, including G Savior.
It has cockpit toilets.
It also has some of the worst characters in Gundam history and maybe the worst female pilot. It has cockpit toilets.
A true innovation in Mobile Suit design.

It's a fun show that has really wacky pacing issues. I loved it.
I completely misread you, sorry. I have seen none of his other stuff. I have interest in Ideon.
That looks awesome but forgive my ignorance but what is a Hirm model?
1/100 kits. Quoting the Gundam wiki: "Each kit consists of a pre-assembled skeletal inner frame made from diecast metal parts, ABS and POM plastic, as well as runners of the armor pieces with a glossy or metallic finish. The inner frame is made in China while the outer armor pieces are made in Japan."
Honestly the only HiRM I've considered getting is the Wing EW or the Astray Noir. But this God Gundam looks like a must have.
Here's some product images.
Also confirmed that the Penelope flight unit is removable to reveal the base Odysseus Gundam.

Brain Powerd is probably the worst of it all. Weird pacing, things just happening, and people having conversations with themselves out loud.Oh, so your not familiar with wonky pacing and sudden conversation turns.
Yeah I have been listening to them as well, they're fantastic.I began listening to this podcast called Mobile Suit Breakdown. They go so in depth to every episode of gundam and I can't wait for them to get to some of my favorite shows. Has anyone else heard of it. (Probably)
You are only asking for it because it makes an RG Chinagguy more likely. :P

IBO is pretty good. The first season has some pacing problems, but as a whole the series is good.Though I haven't posted here in a while, I actually managed to watch everything (I believe) from UC.
In the end, the original Gundam 0079 is the one I enjoyed the most, as far as longer series go; I quite liked Zeta, ZZ less so. I kinda skimmed over Victory, as I wasn't really feeling it.
Twilight Axis was interesting, though of course quite rushed and a bit confusing. Similarly, I wasn't too fond of IGLOO, despite thinking the base idea was potentially interesting. I didn't like Thunderbolt that much, though the visuals and music were pretty great.
I liked Unicorn and Narrative well enough, though I also feel that there was a bit too much "magic" for my taste (in NT mostly).
The entries I liked the most were the short OVAs series; Stardust Memory a bit less so, but War in The Pocket and The 08th MS Team were both great.
I'll probably check out some other series/timelines later on; IBO seems quite promising, as it's pretty recent and I like a lot of the designs I have seen.
I want that!
Thank you! Hope to bring good tidings with my first foray into gunpla. You mean Impulses? Being different colors means they are different kits.
First, the Blast Impulse seems really unpopular seeing how it has neither a Master Grade nor a High Grade.
Second, while the Force and the Sword Impulse have Master Grades and High Grades, only the Force Impulse has a modern remastered High Grade (that you'll identify by it being called either HGCE as in High Grade Cosmic Era or Revive). The quality of the old High Grades for Seed Destiny is somewhat low.
Since I think you live in the US, buying local should be feasible although stock will usually be better on sites from Japan, specially for non recent kits.
Examples of Japanese sites I've used and can vouch for:

https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=TOY-GDM-2983
Example of US site I never used so I have no idea if it's worth it. Notice how it is currently out of stock:
https://www.gundamplanet.com/hgce-zgmf-x56s-a-force-impulse-gundam-revive.html
I'm told that Barnes & Noble carries gunpla in their stores but the selection is relatively small and usually centered on kits released recently.
In any case, if you want to represent your boy Shinn Asuka, the best bang for your buck would mean getting the Real Grade Destiny Gundam. No Real Gread for the Impulses, yet.

Going by the teaser it seems like they are changing the protagonist at least?
Origin thing is just ovas edited for tva. the new IBO project is a mobage. We are also getting new SD Gundam based on ROTK.So what are the upcoming releases? A live action film, a new build Divers, G reco films, Hathaway's Flash films, SOMETHING IBO? What's that the Origin thing?
Would you guys recommend Space Runaway Ideon? Seeing that it's directed by Tomino and hearing it was a big inspiration for Evangelion makes me curious.
Thanks, I'll probably get around to it soon-ish. I have also been meaning to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes for a while now.
Here's some news about an actual good Gundam series.
Also they said that Seed would be coming in 2020, would have an Ultra Edition, and would include both the new dub and the old Bandai dub.
It was also stated that the Gundam Wing Ultra Edition is down to about 200 units. If you were on the fence about it I would move on it soon, once they run out they aren't going to produce any more.
