The amount of Gundam shows on Japanese Netflix is amazing. No English audio or subtitles but there are English episode summaries for everything. Cmon Netflix work something out in the West.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE THIRTY-THREE: SEA DWELLERS

The League Militaire are chasing those Zanscare dastards back to earth. Katejina now hates Uso even though he is just a kid, she believes in the matriarchy. The LM end up at Underhook, a kick ass underwater city. Shakti sees Katejina being wheeled into a room by some cultists. They are Maria followers and also are down with the matriarchy. They capture Shakti. Uso et al fight another dragon mobile suit underwater, piloted by naked wrestling lady. When told by Cronicle not to destroy the city, she destroys the city. Here is a robot kick.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE THIRTY-FOUR: OPERATION BIG ROLLER

Zanscare has battleships, underwater, with wheels, on the ocean floor. Tomache and Odello are scouting them, they are heading directly for the Mexican coastline. They capture one of those stupid wheel mobile suits and spend the rest of the episode tooling around in the wheel with their LM suits, including letting Uso borrow it for a bit. Croncile is here to flatten all the wrinkles (i.e. people, current power structures, kittens, dogs) and they are plowing on through. The Federation agreed to meet the LM here but they are running late. Everyone on the LM side is trying not to cause a nuclear disaster by targeting the ships and ms reactors, but Zanscare don't give a fuck. Uso runs into his mom at the window of the flagship and tries to get her out, but instead eventually wipes out a good portion of their mobile suits by causing an intentional reactor overload of an abandoned suit a bit outside of the coastal city. Uso wants to chase after them and get his mom and Shakti back but everyone holds him back. He's not taking it well.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE THIRTY-FIVE: MOTHER OR SHAKTI

Like it says on the tin. They let the prisoner "escape" and steal back his mobile suit with Odello on board. He happens to also grab the V2 right next door with Uso hidden on board. ZZ/Metal Gear Solid shenanigans take place. Uso's mom, a real fucking star in the series, has her own damn plan for escape.

TxhXH3q.gif

Great success. Odello and Uso meet her and give her some plastique to create a distraction while they save Shakti. They succeed in getting her but not before Cronicle catches up with them, and Uso's threat of killing Shakti obviously won't work on him. Uso's mom shows up and uses more C4 to force a standoff, but after the kids escape she is taken from behind and brought to the bridge. Haro and Odello are real stars in getting them free but Uso and Shakti are clearly not happy with how things went down. She keeps on trying to talk her uncle into something more peaceful than genocide and she keeps getting captured/going off to do this thing, and Uso keeps getting her back. This is either the third or fourth time she's been rescued like this.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE THIRTY-SIX: MOTHER RETURNS TO THE EARTH

But...they're already on earth...oh. Goz Barl, the prisoner from last episode, is ordered to take Uso's mom as a shield. He pretends to defect to get her along. A vicious battle ensues with the LM taking out a dam to stop the Zanscare. Uso takes the leg's off of Goz's mobile suit and Marbet attacks the cockpit, damaging him. Uso's mom is stuck in the arm though and the suit lands on Cronicle's battleship right beneath the guns. They end up accidentally ramming the ship in front of them that the LM ended up taking out and the backwheel of that ship crushes Muller Miguel. A ceasefire between the Federation and the Zanscare empire is called and the battle ends with Uso on the deck of a ship holding a pilot's helmet, dripping with blood and presumably containing his mother's head. DARK.

This was one of about five excellent robot kicks in this episode though.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE THIRTY-SEVEN: THE COUNTERATTACKING TWINRAD

If one mobile suit inside one wheel is radical, what are two mobile suits inside two wheels put together? Double radical. The Gundam Team needs a vacation, so they take the White Arc and a couple of mobile suits to Kasarelia. I mean, the Zanscare would never attack them during a ceasefire, would they?

aMo0qtL.gif

Elisha and Martina hate the smell of the sea. It smells to them of decay. Things don't get much better when the White Arc decides to land on a whale graveyard. The earth is polluted and Zanscare is just doing their best to make it completely uninhabitable. Well Uso and friends drive them away with some last minute reinforcements from the Londonderry team, which are Captain Ricardo's old men.

Played a couple games of Gundam Extreme Versus 2 at an arcade today and got thoroughly destroyed by some random people in online play. Still fun though.

I've been trying to find a site that lets me make a wishlist/collection of Gunpla to prepare for my upcoming raid of Japan but can't really find any. Is the only way to look up kits on Dalong and make a google doc?

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE THIRTY-EIGHT: THE INFERNO OF THE NORTH SEAS

Uso and Odello are patrolling, and Odello has Elischa in his cockpit. They get attacked by Lt. Renda, who just got proposed to by Duker Iq, the sometimes biker, sometimes wig wearing exposition man. Odello is forced to take refuge in an old tanker that's still filled with gas fumes and he and Elischa cement their feelings for each other. Two couples made in one episode, someone has got to die. And after the titular inferno (and a robot kick or two)

6UhPdSi.gif

It is Odello getting around the beam barrier and shooting a volley directly into the bridge that wins the battle and ends the life of Duker Iq and Renda...who instead of the shitty regular naked newtype in space ghost ride off into the sunset on a sweet ass motorcycle and end up at her dream octagonal log cabin. This includes a full montage of Duker Iqs finest moments as if we gave a shit about his earth flattening reformed biker ass, which we don't. Odello has really been coming through lately which just means he is going to die in unimaginable agony later on.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE THIRTY-NINE: THE SONG OF THE WINGS OF LIGHT

Is this Tenchi Muyo now? If you guessed this episode was about Shakti's song that they sing from time to time and the Wings of Light the V2 creates, well, you'd be right. They get to Kasarelia and are almost immediately attacked, well, after Lt. Two days from retirement considering this war is already "over" Machis hears Shakti's lovely song and wants to move his wife and children here. He's got like 30 Zolos with him and everyone races back to the ship to fight them off, Uso once again using his dumb Paraglider to get on the V2. They're coming in for a suicide attack when Uso dives into the ground and takes out all of them besides Lt. Machis with this.

Lwi4pHA.gif

Pretty cool, though not robot kick cool. Anyways he keeps fighting and backs Uso up against the side of the White Ark before getting Gundam stabbed. Uso tries to save him from exploding and gets him off the mobile suit, as he dies in his hands. Uso has been shook all damn episode about this pointless war so they have a funeral for his mom, Oliver, and the Shrike team sisters who died, and bury Lt. Machis along with them as Shakti sings her song.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE FORTY: UNDER THE SUPER AERIAL ATTACK

The crew decides to leave some of the civilians behind at Kasarelia. Uso is helping attach the space booster to the ship when some kids throw rocks at him...I bet you can guess where this is going, it's the dead soldier's family. Uso saves them from a bombardment and brings them to the new graveyard. Shakti and Karl and other Newtypes can't sleep at night, hearing bells ringing. It's the sound of the weird mobile suit raining down death. Uso and co fight it off to a stalemate with nary a robot kick. All of the kids they tried to leave behind (and the dog too) grappling hook back onto the ship before it leaves. Rock on.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE FORTY-ONE: THE BATTLEFIELD CREATED BY FATHER

Everyone is up in space now fighting each other. The cease fire is over and the LM has officially joined with the Federation fleet at that huge solar farm from earlier, but not after another fight with that ridiculous beam sniper...piloted by Fuala! She was last seen being ejected out of the airlock. She's not the only failed villain in this episode as Tassilo, the guy who was going to be executed at the guillotine with Uso is back too, and he's apparently got the entire BESPA wetworks budget behind him as he's been developing a psycommu weapon of mass destruction called the Angel's Halo. Oh and Fuala is wearing bells and looks crazy now, the bells one wears before being brought to the guillotine. Pippiden and Lupe round out the failed villains. But enough about that, Uso's dad is here. Everyone is super impressed by him! Uso/Tomache/Odello get field commissions and Uso gets a Mega Beam Rifle.

kcxmpRE.gif

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE FORTY-TWO: FRESH BLOOD SWIRLS IN THE LIGHT

Pippiniden figures that Tassilo and the one eyed Zanscare general faked the guillotine to get Tassilo hidden away to steal the Angel Halo. Okay, I guess that sort of makes sense. Lupe wants to fuck a 13 year old but has to make googly eyes at Pippiniden to get him in her sway. Franny, the red haired HEXA pilot (It's basically another model of the V1) is given a MEGA BEAM SHIELD which is dope as fuck but waay too powerful for her suit and after using it to blow up one enemy she's left helpless...but escapes and ends up space surfing on the shield in a dope ass maneuver before Odelo picks her up. She rightly decides to fly the shield over to Uso who uses it to stop the pedophile once and for all. She gets a naked Newtype ghost before even coming close to death and then after Uso sticks his beam sword in her chest she flies over to Pippiniden's mobile armor and detonates as a final fuck you to the weird haircut man.

Uso's dad meanwhile keeps talking to the federation fleet commander who just wants him to praise his son more.

More importantly after three episodes away a robot kick.

Stream for the 40th anniversary project

Personally hoping for an original series remake to follow the Origin OVA's.

I'm pretty excited. Whatever happens, new Gundam is always a blessing.

Unless of course it's New Gundam Breaker...

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE FORTY-THREE: THE BATTLEFIELD'S COMET, FUALA

Fuala was drifting in space, ordered exiled by Tassilo...who picked her up after two days and probably did some Cyber Newtype stuff to her as she's extra crazy now. Anyways this is all one big power struggle between the higher ups at Zanscare and Tassilo is trying to betray them all. She also jumps out of her cockpit to go talk to Uso and have her co pilot blow up the mega beam shield. Uso takes out her suit by using a bunch of spare legs as suicide bomber bits. General Santa Claus keeps telling Uso's dad to praise his son more. Like twice an episode. He could use it.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE FORTY-FOUR: LOVE IS AT THE END OF THE LIGHT

The White Arc disguises themselves as a transport ship carrying war spoils trying to get on Angel Halo. Maria Pure Harmonia can sense her daughter is near and she'd be perfect for using the Angel Halo, a solar system wide based mind control device. Her plan is to basically pull an SMT Law ending. Two Envoys of the queen search the White Arc and at the end of their search seeing nothing but a pregnant woman and children believe their tale...and also decide to get married themselves! Shenanigans occur and the man and his suit are taken. The woman believes the man is dead and that one of those brats is piloting his suit...which was 100% true until Shakti busts the man out asking him to take her to the Queen! They need to talk about the Angel Halo. Well, Victory Gundam being Victory Gundam...

M5a7O1N.gif

Shakti was aborted first and is floating through space, thoroughly regretting her life choices and is...captured by Fuala in her fancy new suit. Shakti orders Tassilo to take her to Angel Halo or her uncle.

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE FORTY-FIVE: USO DANCES WITH DREAMS

It's a clip show and an acid trip at once. Queen Maria and the dozens (hundreds? thousands?) of psychickers are testing the Angel Halo and it's working...on Uso. Who sees clips of peaceful times (including an all new one of him and Odello and Warren peeping) and the times everyone fucking died, including the Shrike Team and Oliver.

IZvdmxN.gif

If only Helen had been better at robot kicking. Anyways this happens at the same time a battle is going on so Uso is flipping the fuck out and then snapping to and beating the jobbers tasked to face him. The one eyed general is worried Queen Maria doesn't have enough stamina to pull this off...but could there be another?

MOBILE SUIT VICTORY GUNDAM - EPISODE FORTY-SIX: TASSILO'S REVOLT

Yep. Tassilo is going to revolt. The one eyed general is using the queen to put everyone on Earth to sleep, which will turn them into mental infants with her forcing peace down their throats. Shakti shoots her uncle in the shoulder but he doesn't have Katejina kill her as she can still be of use. Tassilo kidnaps the queen and Fuala keeps fighting Uso. Cronicle is going to have Shakti do something with the Angel Halo...next episode
