No joke, Mystical Ninja was my first thought when I saw this dude. (The persona Goemon from Persona 5, for anyone wondering.)
You never saw him coming. Jk as an enormous Silent Hill fan who's long since said his eulogy for the series I feel you OP.
They made a new Bomberman because Nintendo asked them to (really), so maybe they could potentially have a deal for a new Goemon on the Switch since the series has always been more associated with Nintendo consoles (and is family friendly enough that would go well with Nintendo's platformers, even with some more adultish humor here and there).
