Well TLOU2 in 2019 and Death Stranding in 2020. Those are the biggest upcoming PS games and it would be so unwise to clash them together.

They sure have been filming this for a really really long time, huh? Hope everything else is far along too or it's gonna be a while.

Getting a Pro and a 4k TV this year just for this. Even if it ends up being released in 2020.

It's kind of surreal being both in this thread as well as one of the Top comments on that Tweet lol

I don't know about games but movies as tv shows are often shot out of order. It may not be the they are wrapped up just the least scene of the game being shot and more continuing

What do you guys think would be better for Sony sales-wise? Fall 2019 or early 2020? Sony might prefer early 2020 even if they could squeak it in this year.

Late 2019 or Spring 2020 on PS4 / PS4 Pro.

TLoU II Remastered with any DLC included for PS5 in 2020 or Spring 2021.

PS5 version won't be a patch for the PS4 release. Separate SKUs, just like the first game.

My 2019 catalog is pretty empty so I desperately need to believe this is coming this year

This year would be better for them, considering 2020 has more PlayStation platform exclusives releasing than 2019

Imagine a State of Play before E3 with a TLOU Part II release date

Would be wild

I could see Q4 2019/Q1 2020, with a paid upgrade available on the PS5 launch day in Q4 2020.

Got that right. I honestly didn't know what else would challenge RE2 but when Benji started hinting at this coming this year it became TLOU P2's year. I don't see anything that could challenge it. Unless by some miracle Cyberpunk comes out this year but I don't see that happening.

If Dying Light 2 lives up to its promise it will get pretty close. Man this year is stacked with Zombie Games (RE2R, DL2,TLoU2, Days Gone)

I suppose that's true, though I don't think they would have any trouble spreading them out in 2020. TLOU P. 2 in February, Tsushima in May, and Death Stranding in September...for example.

But yeah, TLOU P.2 will have crazy good sales in either scenario. I think September or October 2019 could make a lot of sense too.

Holiday 2019 then used as a major showcase for the ps5's backwards compatibility

I don't want 2019....

Delay it to coincide with PS5

I'd be too tempted to play it on PS4 and want to experience it first the best way possible

It doesn't matter if it does indeed launch in 2019 for me. The PS5 is coming 2020 and it's extremely likely it'll get a PS5 "remastered" version, even with the PS4 backwards compatibility. If it doesn't, then you know it'll atleast get a PS5-enhanced patch via PS4 BC. I have a massive backlog, I'm cool with waiting another year for a better version of the game.

What'll be REALLY hard tho is avoiding spoilers on this game for that long, which I don't think will even be possible.
