here's the article:

top ten best-selling new games IP by units:
  1. Minecraft (Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo)
  2. Destiny (Bungie/Activision Blizzard)
  3. Zumba Fitness (505 Games)
  4. Watch Dogs (Ubisoft)
  5. Kinect Sports (Microsoft)
  6. The Last of Us (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
  7. Dead Island (Koch/Deep Silver)
  8. L.A. Noire (Take 2/Rockstar Games)
  9. Dishonored (Bethesda)
  10. Titanfall (EA)
So the actual best selling new IP by single release is Kinect Sports then, since I'm pretty sure they didn't port that anywhere else

It is an absolute juggernaut.

It is confirmed it surpassed 20 million units, which is absurd for a story driven new IP.

If that counts the remaster, I disagree that it is "a single release".
Or Minecraft is a single release the same way.

Please review our rules on new thread creation etiquette, in particular related to low effort threads.

Being the Original Poster (OP) of a thread means that it's up to you to provide the foundation for good discussion. When you create a thread, you should include more than just one or two short sentences; make sure that there is enough substance to sustain an interesting conversation. Write as clearly and articulately as possible. Consider whether you're presenting the subject in a way that will generate good discussion.
