By the time the body hit the floor, everyone had already understood that horrible displays of brutality like the one that had just happened were necessary. Not one of them were joking around: their secrets were not something they would ever give up willingly.
As the adrenaline subsided and calmness took over the White Room, they looked over at the body and saw the envelope sticking out of a pocket.
It was then that the voice coming off the loudspeakers gave them clear instructions. They needed to read what was written in the envelope out loud, and then immediately find someplace comfortable to sleep in. And so they did.
They biggest fears were coming to fruition.
Grizzly has died!
These were the contents of the envelope they died trying to hide:
Welcome to The Mansion, Grizzly! We’ve long been waiting for your arrival.
Your true name is Edward, and we know your secret.
You are a Vanilla Townie. Your only power is to vote.
You are aligned with Town and win when all threats against Town have been eliminated.
During the Day, you can also vote for the next Room you want the group to visit by posting the command MOVE: <Room Name> in the main game thread.
You are in the Dark Room. Silence will be punished.
Any players who do not have an active vote by the end of the Day will be lynched alongside the chosen lynch candidate.
These are the Rooms currently available for visitation:
Green Room - "The voices will be pacified." Red Room - "Backs will be turned against the glass wall." Purple Room - "Unincisiveness will be punished." Blue Room - "Fates could change." Yellow Room - "The voices will also protect." Orange Room - "Noise will muddle the voices." Pink Room - "All eyes will look across the glass wall." Grey Room - "Uncertainty will be punished." Teal Room - "The shield will rise."
White Room - "Everything remains as is." Dark Room - "Silence will be punished"
Votes for Rooms must be placed publicly with the command [ HIGHLIGHT ]MOVE: <Room Name>[ /HIGHLIGHT ].
In my opinon Stuart444 is the one most likely to be offed, if that isn't the case then hey stuart, glad to have you around still, I now town read you slightly less.
flatearthpandas could you explain what went on there with the voting? I was really confounded and you kinda forced a scum read, so would be lovely to hear back <3
WhySoDevious, WhySoDevious, WhySoDevious.... What's going on? Why'd you vote grizzly? And looking back on your posts, what on earth in general? The only possible reason I have for not scum reading you right now is my disbelief that scum/mentor would recommend you act like that (still scum reading you by the by), while you're not my target right now that'll change soon if you don't A) Be honest with us all keeping things from us will do is make me scum read you more B) Give us a readslist ASAP and only allow half of your reads be based on the room mechanic (hint and tip use that 50% for your scum buddies and the people you want to lynch) C) Answer the earlier post about grizzly and don't fall back on room mechanics (ok I already used up that question but rule of three and all that). To be completely honest if I had a vig shot there's a fair chance I'd use it on you before you could answer this post.
And my inital vote for the day... VOTE: SaucyKaz hooray!!!! (party balloons fall)
I'll be frank, I think you're the person scum was trying to avoid get lynched and Grizzly had enough faith in you being scum not to vote lux for survival, so you're not looking great right now, I already viewed you as scummy and with the only thing stopping me being your voters (and look one of them's been confirmed) here's hoping you won't be around to kill someone tonight. Want to defuse my unquenchable scum read? Start by giving me a reads list and then come out as a cop with a red check on Z-Beat.
(Z-Beat, don't worry I still lean scum on you right now, you're just not my priority at the moment, sorry about that)
I've typed up a readslist which I'll share once the day 2 explosion dies down, so look forward to that (I'm also working on a thing to compare interactions between different players but I underestimated how much time that would take and I'm not sure how useful it is, but that'll probably be used by me this day phase or next.
