Feels like FEP is putting as much effort into defending himself as he is into not looking too much like he is defending himself and thats giving me bad vibes on him.

Sure. When there's universial chaos, bad actors have more cover to act without scrutiny.
I don't think that's quite true in a situation where we have a record of the events, or at the very least bad actors will get scrutinized, but might blame their actions on the 'chaos'
The chaos provides more cover for them, and the larger the chaos the longer it'll take to sift anything out. D1 end was an absolute mess, with multiple different ties and multiple different pushes with everyone contributing at the same time. The longer the tail of D1, the more chance scum has of hiding and doing what they want.
So not actually any "strike"ing then, just supposed cover for them.
Well yes, as I said, it's too much of a mess to figure out who used it as cover to do what. It's just highly likely that they did and any information we'll have about it later will be of minimal use as opposed to a more... Uh.... Sane, day end. Which is why I'm looking to the person who pushed for it all with a very heavy side-eye.
Yeah imma have to agree with fep that this is just not really true, regardless of how hectic the thread is all of scums posts will still be seen and scrutinised by all, the chaos can be used as an excuse for actions in the moment but it cant literally hide them or thier effect when its all a permanent record.
Your going to have to provide some actual example or evidence of this strategy because right now it just sounds like naive paranoia at best or deliberate misdirection at worst.
They will be seen and scrutinized, but they're on a waiting list with a random order given the volume of candidates we've got to look at on the thing. I never said, "They won't be seen or scrutinized", It's more that they're given cover in numbers, and our job is to whittle those numbers down but that may take too long.

I think it's perfectly natural to look at that mess and be suspicious of some of those votes. Playing it down is not a good look.

Yep. He went from 3 votes to 9 in minutes. With not a single good reason. I know it was day 1 but still..
I think it's way too convenient that things swept Grizzly's way when it looked like Kaz or Godfather was about to get the rope
That's when all the pressure for Grizzly/Lux got applied, in the last 30 mins or so when things looked bleak enough that Kaz pretended to leave and then kept coming back

going from scum "striking" to " they use chaos for cover" are two very differant idea to me, and the vague logic stands as im still waiting for any kind of example of this phenomenon.
