Fair enough on yesterday but I was questioning him directly today and the answers were thin and basically avoiding giving anything of substance.

My attitude is usually inverse to towns performance. You might have been in games with me where town was listening more.
I'm just a know nothing newb here, but literally all i get from Godfather is noise and more noise. If he's town he's just playing terribly as he's constantly distracting from whatever the discussion is at the time with rabbit holes that go nowhere. I actually agree with some of the points he has been making but the tone and acidity he uses just defeats any further discussion on them. And that's why i keep coming back to reading him as scum no matter how much i try otherwise. Although i don't think what he's doing is good scum play either tbh. So fuck if i know. At least if he's lynched the noise will go down considerably and that's what i'm holding on to right now.
tbf, if someone is ballsy enough, they can act so scummy that town would think "they can't be scum" and win via that.
I just don't know mate. I love you all and hate you all in equal measures right now :/

I have limited time before I need to go to puppy training class and run other errands, and I don't believe in claiming in the last 2 or so hours when people may not have time to react.
So I'm town watcher. I can verify that if needed, but that outs another power role who hasn't claimed. There is a chance this player is scum, but they're generally town read by myself and others who have commented so I am very reluctant to out them. If town is still being dumb by the time I get back, I will reveal the info regardless, but only scum have an interest in that happening. My info does not reinforce or counter fat4all, Hecht, or *splinter.

See I had this problem yesterday as well. I had that big fight with him about when people should vote (which he insisted was actually a discussion on if people should vote) and I had to sleep on it before deciding that I didn't want to waste my time falling down an angry tunnel on him.
But he's still causing bother and that in turn is bothering me. Hard to tell what's just being aggressive town and what's scum being a distraction (which technically he isn't because he's drawing attention on himself and then that's a WIFOM mess we're in)
