Oh yeah, I've heard this before. I think it was in the Bombshell trailer.
Anyways, good for her.
Radiohead is my favorite band but this here is absolutely the best song they never used.
I can understand not being a fan of Billie's music or even her way of singing, but to say she cant sing, is downright wrong and preposterous. That's not even a matter of opinion. It's a fact that Billie can sing.
I like her but she's not established enough to have earned it. Some of the best vocalists of all time have done Bond songs over the years.
You can't get more established than Madonna and she has given us the worst Bond song, so fuck it, let Billie run with it. Let's see what someone that young and experimental comes up with.
I was interested until I learned her brother was collaborating. For once I'd like to hear what she can come up with, without him around.
The songs to all these Craig movies have been so forgettable. The chorus to Skyfall the best effort. Hopefully this breaks the streak.
That's been my biggest issue. I get they're going for a different vibe but some of the Craig Tunes seem like pop songs with the movie title occasionally thrown in. Pretty much all of the Brosnan ones were great Die Another Day excluded...and even that one was on theme albeit horrifically auto-tuned.
I assume that one of the songs? Does it at any point even say the name of the movie.
Can't wait. She's one of the most exciting things to come out of mainstream music in the last few years and the amount of hate she gets is baffling.

Between Fukunaga, Waller-Bridge, Hans Zimmer and now Billie Ellish, there's such a sense of fresh and new that it is getting me dangerously hyped.
Saying the name of the movie does not make it unforgettable...
And You Know My Name is not only the best song of the Craig era, but probably the best song of the whole franchise.
It's not so much that I think she can't sing so much as the specific kind of singing she does really grates on me fast.

The thing is - and seeing Crow's Tomorrow Never Dies drives this point home - is that Eilish is really good, but ultimately this won't be one of the best Bond themes because the best ones are always written side-by-side with the score and weave the main theme of the score into the track. Whenever it's just a 'licensed in' song, it's never a stone-cold classic... and that is what it is. Which, incidentally, is why KD Lang's Surrender is the superior Tomorrow Never Dies theme (though TND is a decent song in its own right, I think) - but it wasn't poppy enough for the producers so it got shunted to the credits.

Hey, Tomorrow never dies, and die another day, as well as golden eye are very good bond themes that launched you right into the opening.
My point -- is that its James Bond. They print these movies. Crow was hot at the moment. This is what they do.

Came in here searching for something like this. Lol. I also learned that she can sing however. Surprised since I only know the basic top songs I've heard.
