If I said yes, then it would result in defensive posts from AMD fans. Go with whatever you prefer; either is fine.
Personally I like Nvidia's excellent plug n'play use and game driver support like catpurrcat mentioned. I've had virtually no problems with my EVGA cards for the last 13 years since I started buying them in 2006. I also have a G-sync monitor so I will continue to buy Nvidia. But if not already invested into either "team" (I hate that ideology btw), then you can buy either. The 5700 XT is the best value at around ~$400. The 2070 Super is better if you can spend $500.
