The poster for HBO's The Last of Us has been revealed

Did they use that line in any of the games? Because it sounds really generic. Like something from a slogan generator.
It's in the opening credits of the first game at the very least.
great poster. Don't like the tag line. It doesn't really fit the setting. Makes it seem more hopeful then it is :P

I had to Google it and yes it was used in the game. But I'm still not a fan of it.

1. Could hardly remember where it comes from.
2. I don't think it's a particularly gripping tagline for casual audiences.
Can probably read into it though and maybe a sign the Fireflies will get a lot more screen time, which is pretty much the biggest thing I wanted from this. Imagine how much more the ending slaps if done well.

The other tag line of the show is "Save who you can save" and it's better as an out of nowhere tagline.

I think people underestimate how little the tagline has on a casual audience unless it's for a movie lol

That line precedes the last words of the intro video that branches the in-game prologue to the post-pandemic timeline: "...Believe in the fireflies."
It does feel like tonal mismatch without understanding the context from the game, though.

i played both games and dont remember that corny ass line. its not like its "war...war never changes..." or something.
