Pokemon received largely positive reviews and is selling like wildfire, indicating both critical and popular approval.
Did they fall for the TLJ hype as well? Or were they being genuine there?
The PR run up and talking points/promo cuts for TROS tell me they're shook by the tracking. They're clearly aware of the sentiment.

Hindsight is 20/20 but there were SO many warning signs that Disney knew they had a stinker on their hands.
they should have fired JJ and brought in RJ mid production just for the meltdowns lol
I've never spent time in any of those threads, I've not even seen BvS. I've talked with people I trust who have seen the movie. I'm not concerned, the public is going to enjoy this movie. You can keep the receipts.

Yeah, all the ingredients were there, under a better director the prequels could've been special.
Welp, imma go into this movie pretending its a very high production fan piece and enjoy it for the candy it is. Expectations tempered.
I don't think he set up solutions to those mystery boxes because those questions were never going to be answered in his movie. Unless the argument is that he was so arrogant that he plotted out an entire trilogy he was only writing the prologue of so that he could whine about the fact other writers didn't use his ideas?
I still cant believe Lucas took actors of the calibur of Natalie Portman and Samuel L Jackson and made them look like actors in a high school play.

Been watching his videos for a few years now. He seems like a good guy, I enjoy his reviews.

I am still excited to see this tomorrow, even if my expectations are tempered.

He's problematic and annoyinig. Also his critiques have like...zero substance. Chris Stuckman does a better job.
Yup. It was one of the best parts of TLJ, so of course JJ had to piss on it.

Yes and that's not even the most ridiculous thing in the movie. It also kind of conflicts with the end scene which would have worked better with the previous assumption. The whole plot is like taken from headcannon posts on Reddit.
