Fuck Kylo Ren, The kiss was some real save the nazi white boy ass shit and I'll forever hold it against the whole sequel trilogy for writing that trash. I wanted to throw up seeing that kiss happen.

Yes it’s disgusting on a couple levels.
Palpatine wanted Rey brought to him so she could kill him and he could pass through to carry on his soul. If Snoke was Palpatines puppet, why was Snoke having Kylo strike down Rey in TLJ?
Also this guy got thrown down a well and almost dies and he tries the exact same plan? To have the last Jedi turn to the darkside only to betray him? What a dumb use of him.
Also Rey kissing Ben? She saw him kill Han. 8 hours after stabbing Kylo and doing an oopsie she's ready to kiss him? That felt so out of place.
This movie should be called out for all of its dumb choices.

I’m not defending him really, there are some shot decisions here, but :
Take an already tight production schedule, then add in that JJ had to come in late due to Treverrows firing, and that he was working with the less talented of the two writers behind BvS and that they were largely constructing a new plot, it’s no wonder that this film ended up being a mess.

Palpatine knew Kylo would instead kill Snoke and offer Rey to join him. If Rey accepted he would have had both Rey and Kylo as his Sith buddies...

It not really about the timeline, but the questions that it brings up. Palapatine had a son? When did he have a son? Is it maybe a clone? Why did he have a son?

Even so his plan was to try the same tactic like in RotJ that got him killed? Have the sith bring the last jedi to him. Have the jedi try and cave by watching their friends in danger...Except with more lasers this time?

They have to wrap up 9 movies and they decide to spend time on bad one liners and Babu Frik. Because we all know he was the glue holding the saga together. No time with Ben and Luke which would have been worth exploring was dissappointing. Especially when Luke says see you around kid. But at least we got Giant snake in tunnels.
