It's definitely the smallest the logo's ever been so far. At least the icon itself is finally more than just three characters against a bland background.

I wonder why this icon exists and appears on the nintendo website if not for the switch icon.i hope when they put the next patch for deadly premonition they also update the icon. this is infinitely better than the one they've gone with

Sadly, a game's icon on the website not matching the home screen icon is far more common than you might think.

That one, Octopath Traveler and Skyrim bother me the most. Great games like this deserve good icons and it would take such little effort to make probably hundreds of thousands of fans happier, but they don't do it.

Something about these games' keyart/icons is incredibly bland to me. That unimaginative, almost PowerPoint-esque swoosh background is definitely not doing it any favors.No surprises here.

Yes, icon talk aside, imo SwSh have the worst box art for a Pokemon game. It's like unfinished sketch pending final illustration.

I have had no issues with Icons for so long that when I came home and put Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition into my Switch my heart just sank. How could you do this to me Bamco! I Love the recent Digimon games so that Icon just kills me. Also just got Layers of Fear: Legacy because it was on sale... I thought this game had a decent Icon but I guess I had seen the wrong image... Now I have 2 stains on my Home Screen. Damnit.

Mind you, Black and White would've had really bad icons—their backgrounds were static black and white.
I miss Diamond and Pearl's sparkly backgrounds.
