Guess the natural hardware turnover on PC makes running the game at max specs easier and easier, while the console versions stay the same. Also heavier discounts.

700k for The Witcher 3 on Switch is pretty good considering that's at full price, but it's super impressive the number it's pulling on other platforms(even at a discount).

That' not surprising, I think everyone knows by now that PC versions have the longest legs out of every system.

That's mostly due to infinite BC and hardware upgrades. Suddenly people who could not play it will buy it after a new PC to check it out.

Crazy numbers. I gotta resume my save someday... or start a new one. It's been a few years.
FWIW, I picked up my 40h save a few weeks ago and I am having a blast. Very close to the end now. I was very apprehensive about diving back in, but I am very glad that I did.

PC Verison moved about 12,390,000 units‬ which accounts for about 44% of total units sold.

As for what platform was more profitable, that is up in the air. Different platforms and media distribution methods take different percentages. That would have to be something CDPR would have to divulge to the public.

The impact of the TV show is clearly visible in sales. Playstation Productions must be happy right now.

Really really weak Switch sales.
Adjust your expectations for a late port of a three-year-old game on other platforms at full price. Pretty solid for a third-party game on Switch, and I think CDPR said they were pleased with the Switch version's sales. It will join the elusive Switch third party million sellers club soon, if it is not there already.

That big sales boost in 2019 is likely because of the Netflix series, right? Super impressive considering the series only released late December.

Really good sales and well deserved. Got absolutely nothing to disparage the game for really, great game, great DLC, great that it's fully multiplatform and the Switch version was very welcome.

It would be way more interesting to have the revenue breakdown, because small Switch sales could very well still translate into higher revenue that year, as the game has been heavily discounted on all other platforms.
