Nancy house is a lock though. Of course.
I think it could happen but there's no desire right now. I do think the property has some potential and the setting has A LOT of potential.
Has anyone done the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK? Should we book our fast passes for after it ends? What rides do they take you on?
Gonna be in Central Florida in a few weeks, and I really can't pass up the chance to go to WDW. Gonna be my first time going solo, so I wonder how that's gonna be. On the one hand I'll probably miss my family, but on the other I imagine it'll be so liberating to just do what I want when I want.
This really does look fantastic. I'd love to plan a trip when it opensThere are some brand new aerial pics of the new Hagrid coaster at IOA and wow does it look great.

It's a little baffling that Disney has said nothing of Haunted Mansion's upcoming 50th
I don't fully know if I'm going this year but I HAVE been watching the news on it. I think I've only seen an art/costume contest mentioned. Plus that seems a little last minute for celebration announcements because the official anniversary is also in August alongside D23Didn't even realize it would be 50, but you're right August 1969.
I wonder if they'll do something with/at/announced at D23 this year.
Other than that, Horror Made Here (WB's HHN equivalent) was canceled. Idk if that means they're open to giving universal licensing privileges for The Conjuring and IT

Would be awesome if they announce that long speculate Haunted Mansion restaurant even if its a ways out. It's a little baffling that Disney has said nothing of Haunted Mansion's upcoming 50th
As much as I'd love this, where would they put it? There isn't enough room unless you want to get rid of the courtyard and relocate the entrance to the train station, or just retheme the restaurant across from it.Would be awesome if they announce that long speculate Haunted Mansion restaurant even if its a ways out.
Not sure about Disneyland but the speculation for World seemed to have a good locationAs much as I'd love this, where would they put it? There isn't enough room unless you want to get rid of the courtyard and relocate the entrance to the train station, or just retheme the restaurant across from it.
I'd be upset if WDW got something for Disneyland's anniversaryNot sure about Disneyland but the speculation for World seemed to have a good location
along with haunted dock theme leading you around back and into the actual restaurant.
I would also but I could see an announcement around the property's anniversary and by the time it is open it will be Magic Kingdom's 50th anniversary.I'd be upset if WDW got something for Disneyland's anniversary

Feel like there was first talk of it like 5+ years ago, kicked up from the massive success of Be Our Guest.

So what do you guys think will happen to Simpsons World at Universal? I would hate to see it go because they did such a great job with especially the Springfield area
I think it'll end up in the same situation as Islands of Adventure is with Marvel. Springfield is too far gone to stop now
They'll probably keep it going unless something nuts happens between then and nowHow? Universal's contract has them hold onto the theme park rights into perpetuity. Simpsons ends sometime around 2028.
It just seems like a huge waste for them to not renew especially since they invested so much money into it a few years ago.Hey I helped with that article! lol
I think Universal will continue to use the characters till around the contract is up then make an approach on another IP for the area.

I agree. I wonder how profitable having the attraction is for them. I can't see Disney really using the ip in their parks. I hope they renew the contract but if not I hope they replace it was something great

I honestly wouldn't mind all that much if they got rid of both the Simpsons stuff and the Men in Black ride and convert that area into a new, large exciting area for.. something.
They're not going to get rid of those areas and invest in something big because they are going to have the Fantastical Worlds park opening in a few years and I am sure they do not want to drop a ton of $$$$ in one of their current parks to retheme two areas... I can see them maybe re-skinning the MIB right into some other IP...
Did they update MIB for any of the sequels? I haven't been on it since before 3They might update MIB to coincide with the new Chris Hemsworth film I suppose 🤷♂️

Im going to be broke from Galaxy's Edge before it even opens.
That Galaxy's Edge Ahsoka plush and replica sabers are immediate purchase as soon as they go up(among others)
probably will as well, but just looking at them at celebration. If I end up at WDW this fall (looking at early Dec) and I can get into Galaxy's Edge, I think I would actually build my own saber... Now, mind you, I do not currently own any of the retail sabers and have never really wanted to, but there something about this whole process that is appealing to me...

Lightsaber bases start at $109 and to add a blade it's $49. I'm having a hard time justifying that.
