I don't know how many Era People follow canon comics But Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - Star Wars: Allegiance #1
Show that "Rey Struggle to use the force power" after Cut Force bond with Kylo Ren.

From TLJ Expand Edition novel.

“Kylo had retreated at finding Rey in his head — had practically fled from her. But that had not been the end of that strange, sudden connection. She had seen more — far more. Somehow, almost instinctively, she knew how he accessed some of the powers at his commend — even though she didn’t understand them. It was as if his training had become hers, unlocking and flinging open door after door in her mind”
IIRC. Story Group Confirm Force bond already Connected them when Kylo read read mind. Snoke just ampifly

So Basically
Kylo Ren - Server / Google
Force Bond - Wifi / Internet
Rey - High-End PC with 56k Modem

PS. Force bond is Dark Side Power

1. The writing is horrible.
2. Stop putting the logic of the storylines you are trying to do in comic books and informational lore books. SHOW IT IN THE MOVIES.

Why is everyone so damn desperate to find an explanation for something that never needed an explanation?

This would make a lot of sense but it's also what a lot of people have been suggesting is the case since TFA, which isn't necessarily bad.

It’s probably more like the Force needs Rey and Kylo to be connected to stop Palpy

but yeah make sense that she already had a connection to the force and her fast control of the force happened because she was connected to Kylo’s mind

Okay, but are we confirming that Kylo created a new force bond with the kid with the broom?

No, it sucks.

Rey can be a strong character. Not just because she's connected to a strong dude.

The only freaking thing that this character needs is to show that she practices and improves, so that every single one of her OP exploits feels earned and satisfying.

Just show her trying a mind trick on a small animal before pulling it off on a Storm trooper, show her learning to get a couple of good hits with her saber (Similar to what happened in TLJ when she used the ONLY move she has ever practiced on screen)

If it's hard to integrate into the story just do a quick montage or a timeskip

If Rey is weaker at the start of RoS than she was at the end of Force Awakens people are going to walk out of the theater no matter how many comic books people throw at them.

Why would that really need to be shown though? We never see Luke doing a mind trick on a small animal before using it. We don’t see Luke force choking anything before using it on a guard nor do we see him training it.

It’s probably more like she already had strong connection to the force but the connection to the Kylo made her understand it better since he had been using it his whole life

Working on that also.
I will never understand why these movies warrant so much conversation. I walked out of both and said "That was pretty alright. Needed to work on this and that but ultimately a good time". I like nerdy conversations about stuff I like also but people treat these movies like they need to either be the best thing ever or the literal worst movies ever made when both are just fine.

Wait if the bond thing is a dark side power wouldn't that mean Luke was also using dark side powers?

It's too late for though seemingly. Unless they would have done a flash back with some training but we know from TFA there was none, just a jump from lvl1 to lvl99 in the span of a few hours. Their lack of that is what fueled the Mary Sue stuff, Anakin, Obi-wan, and Luke all trained or were in trainng at some. Ripley or Sarah Conner would have made good templates, moreso Sarah.

As someone who doesn't like the way Rey's power growth has been handled I gotta say that this is even worse than what they did in the movies. Don't make her reliant on others. Just do a better job of showing her learn and struggle with her powers.

I really like the thread title because it shows exactly what type of argument this post is going to make, what type of person would bring it up, and what the arguments for it will say.
But yeah, give me them "Youtube comments" quality posts.
